Bask in your glory, but to allude to an old American cliche, "Remember The Sesilator." Those on this side of the Atlantic that listened in history class will know what I am talking about. ;)

  :retard:

Sesil has a lot of improving to do before she comes close of even thinking of beating in-form top players. She got lucky with Venus at RG even she admitted that.
I'm sure you''ll be celebrating her expected and/or predicted glory days in the future but you're a bit to early I guess. Right now it's Venus' time and Sesil better hope she won't meet Venus in the upcoming hard court season.

Yeah, and how many slam wins has Alicia.............that's what I thought.
Venus has lost to far lesser players than Alicia so that doesn't say anything about Alicia's or Sesil's or the other players form, it says more about Venus' form at the time because they didn't went on to win big titles or anything, while Venus on the other hand is winning big again because her form is coming back to her. Venus 2005 Wimby champ :bounce: :worship: :bounce: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:.

No, "Remember the Alamo." A major slaughter of the under manned, unprepared American troops by the Mexicans during the fight over the territory that became the state of Texas. Was a huge embarassment. Lesson is always be prepared, and never think you are invincible.

I'm surprised that you would even bring this up for Sesil's sake after her mortifying performance at Wimbly this year, remember the Sesilator indeed! :o :tape:

Keep on with that attitude, but "Remember the Alamo," eg. "Remember The Sesilator." Big lesson here, could work to her benefit. And you do not have to explain yourself to anyone simply because that can type up a huge signature line and average 100 posts a day. ;)

The Texans weren't unprepared.
Nor was it an "embarrassment" for them.
On the contrary!
Colonel Travis and his handful of men in the Alamo mission fought bravely for 13 days against the Mexican troops under General Santa Ana's command and by this won enough time for Texan General Sam Houston to prepare his army for the deciding battle against Santa Ana (which they won).

I will keep on with my attitude for as long as I like okay :wavey:.

There's no need to brag about Sesil when Sharpie wiped the floor with her at Wimby with a bagel and a breadstick. You can do that when she delivers which I'm sure she will in the future.

Well, I'm not sure I understand what you're saying though there seems to be a storyline with Sesil in with the lead role :o.

What I meant with setting the record straight is that it's not fair to brag about wins that certain players had over Venus when she clearly wasn't in-form mentally and/or physically.

I think not, she wasn't even close to it.

How many American men survived The Alamo? Under manned = unprepared, poor logistics. The battle that followed is irrelevant. The cliche relates to the "The Alamo."
