HELP: gift ideas please!

Okay here's the background info:

I've been going out for this guy for about 1 week now (for the ones who kno, this is Chris, we've gone out for 2 weeks before today but there was a break between this, and have been dealing for a couple of months)... so he's going to Germany for all of July soon and I was thinking: Should I get him a goodbye gift? I thought yes, and was thinking of making him a cd, but he has an ipod so there's no point plus he has most of the songs I wanna use anyways. Second qestion: WHAT DO I GET HIM?! :confused:


any ideas and/or opinions will be great :)

well i think that if u made him a cd then he prob wud listen to it regardless of havin an i-pod purely cos u made it for him
perhaps somethin like a teddy or sumthin small that he can take with him to remind him of u ok yeah i no im crap at this but my boyf has got 7 teddies from me an he loves them :D
maybe sum aftershave or sumthin

Make him a care package. Maybe a handmade card with a silly picture on it. Also, I for one, and a lot of men like T-shirts. It could just be a nice blue t-shirt with nothing on it but it would look nice on him. Then he can go to Germany looking good. But you shouldnt buy him anything expensive. oh and you can buy him a book in his subject of interest. but if its not too mushy and appropriate for your relationship, a nice homemade card is always best. It HELPS compensate for the Dear John letter that you may send him later, hehe.
