That sucks. In NJ, the age of consent is 16. I got lucky.

Not a damn thing wrong with it! But, just be careful. Us old guys can be a bit... um... well.... just be careful.

I would wonder about him. Does he always pursue such young women? I wouldn't date him, that's for sure.

Jun 27th, 2005, 03:04 AM
I mean normally I'd think it weird, but he is very attractive...

I don't plan to really hook up, but it was a nice change up...

I'm still searching for the right guy....

Tall, dark, handsome, muscular, although not too muscular, kinda taller, happy trail, and well....of cours hung....

How about you guys?

I'm not sure you'll find love or the right guy when he's 20+ years older. You have a ton of life ahead of you. So don't put all your hopes in one cart. ;)

We're not going to, he has a bf, it was just interesting how I thought a 36 year old was attractive, normally I'd think it was way too old.

Preach. I thought I was the only one who thought Tursunov was hot. Yeah maybe you lay off the big dicks till you're just a little older. There's nothing wrong with a little Bump & Grind though.... Or maybe you can just find some tall, dark, muscular, handsome, and hung in your age group.

I'm 20 and my boyfriend is 31.....it already represent a small problem for me...

so 16 to 36:eek:

You have to know that he really is an adult...and you are a young man...

be sure that he is a good boy before to do anything with him.... for a 36 years old man....beeing attracted to a 16 year old boy is not really "classic"....

but you know if he is great...age doesn't matter:wavey:

you're like a more extreme version of me...while i never date that old, i rarely get with someone in my age group. :)

as long as you be careful...why not. you could get hurt (emotionally) as big gaps often represent a problem, but if you're willing to risk then go for it

If you're just looking for sex, I guess it's OK, but if you want a relationship with him... well, that could be a bit difficult.

Well, good luck finding one of those. Those types aren't exactly to be found on every corner. And if you do find one, you'll likely realize all those things aren't all that important.

I'm sorry, but that is sick to me. What could a 36 year old possibly have in common with a 16 year old other than sex?

I'm totally with you on this....for a 36 and 16 year old to have stuff in common....it is possible that the 16 year old has lived a hard tough life and seen things that have made them grow up but it's highly unlikely. It's more likely that the 36 year old is extremely immature and still likes stuff he did when he was that young or likes them young cause they don't know shit and they can control the situation. Either way, I understand gay guys see sex a little different than girls, but still yuck! :tape:

and I'm 35 and the thought of dating a 16 year old. :scared:

Rocketta

but maybe that's because my nephew is 22 and my neice is turning 16 in a month....and I would have to hurt someone if they were 36 and stepped to my neice. :armed:

I've kept within quite a narrow band myself, from seven years older than me to five years younger. But I'm prepared to stretch it further for the right goil. :hehehe: Really, I'm amazed at how judgmental people are about this issue. I suppose it's just one more prejudice for our society to overcome, like the prejudice against gays, the prejudice against interracial relationships, etc. People here (other than Holly) are not seeing the big picture.

No problem with attraction. But as far as dating/fucking, ew. So, it's just a crush? Crushes are harmless. Maybe in the future he could teach you a few things... Ok, my scandalous comment of the day!

Would you feel the same way if there was still a 20 year difference, but he was 18, rather than 16? Or 20/22/24/26? I mean, where do you draw the line? People 20+ years apart can have plenty of things in common. Of course, there are always life experiences that come naturally with age, but I don't think there is an age barrier as far as interests go.

I think probably the most difficult part of the relationship would be dealing with outside forces/people who think it's "sick".

There is just a gross inequity in power between a teen and a thirty something. When I was 17, I dated a guy who was 36. I was still in high school and living at home, and he owned several homes, drove a Porche, and had a high power job with NBC. It was hard because he always paid for everything and just had more life experience. I ended up just raking him over the coals just to preserve my upper hand in the relationship. Sad, but true. After that I stuck to my own age group for the most part. I think even now, the thought of dating someone 20 years older than me is just a little...

pretty innaccurate comparisons IMO. Prejudice against a 16 year old having sex with someone 20 years old is in the same category as prejudices about interracial or same sex relationships? this issue is far less cut and dry.
