Best adaptation, as in best movie,

or best adaptation, as in best use of source material (comics)?

For best movies, I'd say X-men, just because I'm a fan.

but best use of source material, Spiderman.

Personally I think both X-men movies suffered from poor casting and some questionable dialogue.

The Crow is the best comic-adaption I've seen (and it also has a very awesome soundtrack)

But out of the above choices, then X-men.

The nest Superman movie (2006) by Bryant Singer looks promising. Lets cross our fingers.

Jun 23rd, 2005, 11:52 AM
Glad no one voted for Hulk. That was by far the most boring and stupid movie I've ever seen.

Yes, spin-off of Daredevil :)

I loved the old Batmans TV series and movie for their sheer colour and energy, but have been less impressed with the more modern films...

I thought Superman 2 was great, the three main villains are a treat, (especially vampy Ursa (Sarah Douglas)!) and Gene Hackman is class.

I actually prefer Sam Raimi's first Darkman film to his Spiderman movies, it has much more of his trademark verve and flair...I do like both Spiderman films...but its Darkman that has the OTT charm, the opening warehouse fight is a joy to watch!

Someone already seen Fantastic Four? How is it? I like the comics a lot and am looking forward to seeing it here, the movie will get to German's cinemas in five days.

Yeah, Ghost World ... or Sin City. Of those in the list then I'd pick Batman. (Haven't seen Elektra though.)

F4 is BAD. Only Alba and Evans are the eye candies that make your money worthwhile.
