Four people were arrested at the War of the Worlds premiere in London after Tom Cruise was soaked with water.

The 42-year-old actor berated his assailants questioning why they would do such an "incredibly rude" thing.

Not only does the squirt-er looked like a "jerk" but also dumb too - unable to answer why he would do such a ridiculous thing. :yeah: for Tom Cruise though for shifting the spotlight at the squirt-er and making him look uncomfortable.

:o Too bad it wasn't holy water.

 Don't think that would have ANY effect on Tom Cruise, considering his beliefs.

Those people were rude, but I did enjoy seeing this piece of Tom Cruise news instead of all the "I'm in LOVE!" stuff.

This thread's title is ambiguous. At least for people with a mind for the disgusting and rude.

i also think it is rude to trash talk other people in the media when all they are trying to do is educate people on different alternatives to depression after giving birth.......karma is a bitch!

You know what Tom Cruise really needs right now? You guessed it, a same-sex stalker.

And it can't be just any run of the mill nut. The guy needs to have a website dedicated to Tom and give lots of interviews about his love for Tom, etc., but he should operate just inside the boundaries of the law so that Tom can't do anything about it. The guy could also like start saying publically that one night with him is all he's asking Tom for, because that would convince Tom to run off with him. The guy could become a Scientology nut and stuff.

You figure with all the gay following he has, there has to be some kook out there who would do it. If Steven Speilberg can have a same-sex stalker, then why not Tom?

Apparently he might be pressing assault charges - A bit of over the top I think

The paparazzi needs to repsect these stars I think they are getting out of hand. Yet, I think this helps Tom Cuises image. He is in a decline/becoming a bore or was imho. He is *loved* again. We *feel* bad for him. We are *mad* at the mean ole paparazzi and *empathize* with Tom. Don't we? lol

Anyway emotions from the fans can add millions of dollars to alot of bank accounts.:)

That was quite the scandal of the week, wasn't it  I was shocked when I saw it  Tom's reaction was cool and he make look that guy like a jerk indeed :haha: But if he sues him that it's a bit over the top

Did you guys know there is an anti-marriage site about Katie and Tom called "Save Katie" :speakles: :haha:

I thought his reaction made him look like even more of a psycho. Who addresses people in the crowd and dresses them down? What is he, Jesus Christ, who talks to the masses? No one ever threw water at Helen, but once, when I was walking down the red carpet shortly after my divorce from Jess, some broad's like screaming at me from the side "Burn in hell, bitch! You ruined Jess Barker's life, you harpie!" Well, Helen stayed stoned-faced and looked straight ahead and continued walking, with my great big smile plastered, waving the whole time, while the security guards dragged her off. That's the better way to handle it. I'd have looked like a tool if I went over there and said something like, "How do you know I ruined Jess' life, hon, huh? Do you know that Jess beat me and couldn't make a living?" Movie stars don't talk to the public from the red carpet. That's what fan mail is for!

One day ole Sally was at a charity function at a homeless shelter and I gave some woman a cup of soup. She threw it in my face and told me that she wasn't going to be a part of me using the shelter as a self promotion opportunity. I stormed out and kicked down her cardboard box shack. :tape:

I was thinking: "At his age? Nah, he probably just sort of dribbles these days." Then I saw what the thread was really about.

ARGH! My internet is being so dumb. I keep trying to access clips but my computer is just making an odd noise when I attempt to click on them! GRRR! I can click on other links fine.
