Her serve is realy sad today. Its just very slow. SHe needs to stop playing a gt surgery.

She really needs to take an extended break...Right now she can lose to anybody. If I were her I'd just skip the US hardcourts and comeback inddors. She'd still be top 20, and she'd come back on what would arguably be her best surface.

Nastya is playin' poorly, the trainner has been on (she has some problem with her shoulder and took a medical time out)

She has just been broken to go 1-3 down in the second. The match reminds me of the US Open last year when the other girl played well (Bohmova has a big leftie serve and is serving well), but a half way decent performance from Nastya would have won her through.

Worryingly it is heading the same way.

How incredible is it for Bohmova to win her first WTA match and it´s against a top ten and slam winner?

Sorry, but I couldn´t help but notice that...

She's won some qualifying matches, but no main draws.

And wow...she's had some ugly losses this year.

She should take a break , definitely , I dt know why she keeps playing tournaments and keep saying after her early losses "right now, anybody cd beat me" (cf vs MA Sanchez in FO)
I hope she finds her way back to her 200 form soon
good luck Anastasia

I can't believe anyone is surprised by this. We all know about Nastya's personal and physical problems right now...it would be a nice surprise if she won this match, but it's pointless to expect her to play anywhere near her best.

After sich a long time of poor play I'd still expect her to finally win against a much lower ranked opponent...I know about her problems and all, but if she does not take a long break people are still expecting her to win such a match. If she does not want people to think that way, then she should take some time off don't you think

Not at all. Just because she's still playing doesn't mean her problems have gone away. Her mother is still ill, and her shoulder is still hurting, and she hasn't shown that she's found a way to deal with these yet. Her last three losses have been to Schruff, Sánchez Lorenzo and Vinci - losing to Bohmova wouldn't be a surprise at all.

Hopefully she can turn it round though, starting with this tiebreak right here.

Yep, that´s right. I mean it´s a pretty tricky situation. She doesn´t have enough confidence in her serve, plus there´s a short sharp pain everytime she hits an overhead or serve. And if that isn´t already enough, there´s still her worries about her mum...must be pretty hard, but I am kinda proud that she tries to pull through after all.

Unless you also think that Federer, Mathieu, Hewitt and Rochus are all serving around 100-120km/h, i'm going to go out on a limb and say that the radar looks to be off by about 60-80km/h

Radar is definately off.
