She thanked Sony Ericsson the sponsor happened not to be a French brand (what is still a French brand anyway) and those stupid people booed !

Great incentive for future investors !

Its only cause in France its chocking to talk about brand publicly. Such an advertising is not common. Its not a matter of nationality, it would have been the same for any other brand! Its just a difference of culture between Anglo-saxon countries and more latin countries... But some people are not able to take this into consideration and everything they dont understand is necessarily stupid to them
Just look at Justine and Mary when they pronounced the name of the sponsor, its obvious they expected the reaction of the crow... and both players were not chocked by it... If only their fans could follow their examples

I felt this was poor planning on NBC's part:fiery: ....they should have had a translator there....there were no surprises going into this final...both girls were going to speak in French but the English speaking world we were left in the dark as to what the girls were saying:confused: ....at the end one of the announcers did reply a "few words" of translation...but this was poorly done. ...earlier in the week Mary Jo interviewed Nadal in Spanish and then translated everything he said which was wonderful:worship: ....we did need someone to translate both Justine and Mary's speeches! I just think they (NBC) showed "little class and little interest" in doing us this favor!:p
