You are completely right. I calculated it out... if she hadn't gotten any points going into the Aussie and lost in the first round there, she'd fall to about #110!!! <img src="frown.gif" border="0"> <br />I'm glad she realized she needs all the points she can get. Playing Auckland was probably the best decision of her career.

If she survives through Tokyo, Anna simply adds points for every win past that event. Wildcards will see her through having to qualify <img src="wink.gif" border="0"> <br />Bet the other gals wanting wildcards LOVE that, not to mention she gets more appearance money just to show than most ladies on tour make in a year. She's worth it at least, because Auckland has set attendence records already this year, plus the women are getting added TV coverage there.
