C'mon everyone! CHEER DAMNIT! :fiery:

Apr 6th, 2002, 10:57 PM
Its been so long Sandrine! *sheds a tear*

This title is very important cos not only is it a big tier 2 and there are some top notch quality points on offer, but its on tv and i haven't seen u since Sydney!

Here's hoping for a good draw!

Apr 7th, 2002, 12:54 AM
Welcome Sonic and Hello Fellow Warriors! :wavey:

Sandrine has a first round bye and will play the winner of Adriana Serra-Zanetti or Rosana De Los Rios in Round 2. Amanda, Iva, Gala, and Conchita are all possible third round opponents with Amelie awaiting in the quarters if seeding holds.

C'mon Sandrine, get those cleats sharpened and stomp em all! :fiery:

Apr 7th, 2002, 04:46 AM
Hmm... it doesn't appear any of these people will be a threat.

Crush them Sandrine.

Good luck to Sandrine. Onwards to the top 10 me girl.

Apr 7th, 2002, 01:22 PM
I don't like this draw :(

Head to heads:

against Amanda: 0-3
Conchita 1-6

iva 5-1
gala 5-0

Apr 7th, 2002, 11:35 PM
Sonic: She has an easy draw regardless of those head-to-heads. :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: ;)

What an easy tournament, I'll be mad if she loses a set. ;)

Apr 8th, 2002, 03:01 AM
I agree, what an easy draw.

Destroy them mercilessly, Sandrine...

Apr 8th, 2002, 10:17 AM
Sandrine is playing doubles with the lovely Nathalie Dechy :)

Good luck to them :)

Apr 9th, 2002, 12:46 AM
The puppies were just an appetizer...

Rosana and child are the next course for Madame Sandrine.

Bonne Appetit!

Apr 9th, 2002, 03:38 AM
Maria Grazia  I havent heard of her but nevermind :o

OK, where was I?

Yep, Sandrine should digest the Partridge Family with ease next round....and Iva lurks :o

Go Sandrine! :D

Apr 9th, 2002, 08:33 AM
anya, you're marshmellow, right?

why did you change your name? I loved the other one!

Apr 9th, 2002, 08:34 AM
and btw... Terry, you need to celebrate now cuz you won't be too happy when Sandrine is digesting Iva :o ;)

Apr 9th, 2002, 11:31 AM
lol @ the Partridge Family! :o

poor Iva

Apr 9th, 2002, 12:40 PM
omg Ed stop crying :fiery:

Apr 9th, 2002, 03:12 PM
Ed..."Here is a song that we're singing...to make Sandrine hungreeee" :o

OK...where was I?

Scott :fiery: Cant u give Iva an exemption? (provided she gets there of course :o)

Apr 9th, 2002, 04:45 PM
Okay. Sandrine won't kill her. But she will have to be spanked.

Apr 9th, 2002, 06:03 PM
Sandrine had a bit of a hiccup in the second set against Rossana (those Paraguayans  are a bit hard to digest) ;) but won the last four games to win 6-1, 6-4.

Spanish cuisine is on the luncheon menu for Thursday. :p

Apr 9th, 2002, 07:27 PM
Scratch that...

Alzheimer's is setting in early I'm afraid. I was thinking that Sandrine's next opponent was the winner of Gala and Conchita but I forgot there's another match to be played!!! :o

Terry, what's on the Croatian menu? ;)

Apr 9th, 2002, 07:48 PM
omg you forgot about Iva Edly :o

Terry will not be pleased :o

(not that he's a threat or anything)

Apr 9th, 2002, 09:37 PM
sigh, this tournament is way too easy for sandrine ... ;)

terry: maria grazia acted in one of the 007 movies ... not sure which one ... but yeah, she still hasn't made it big in north america ... but she soon will ;)

ok ... back to tennis

Allez Sandrine ... and give Iva at least one game ;)

Apr 10th, 2002, 12:42 AM
If Iva beats Conchita...then this showdown will be a classic (mainly for us :o)

Apr 10th, 2002, 12:53 AM
6-0 6-0 is hardly classic

poor Iva :o

Apr 10th, 2002, 02:24 PM
Maria thingybob was the woman who was chased around the Thames on a boat in The World is not enough... she killed herself by blowing up the hot air balloon she was in. Sweet.

Apr 10th, 2002, 03:58 PM
Sonic: thanks for the info ;)

well, ophelie is #27 ... nicolas must know her, since she is the top french model, i believe

Apr 10th, 2002, 04:09 PM
Thanx Sonic!

Jerome, who do u think will be tops? I have a feeling Halle Berry and Sarah Michelle Geller will definately be up there (unless theyve been in it already and I missed their names :o)

Whoops! This *is* a Sandrine thread  so ALLEZ!

Apr 10th, 2002, 05:55 PM
Sarah was like #80 ... Halle is still to come ;)

Last year ... Laetitia Casta was #1. :hearts:

oh well, allez sandrine ;)

Apr 10th, 2002, 06:57 PM
what is it with this irrelevant discourse? :fiery:

Apr 11th, 2002, 12:34 AM
Iva lost.

Sandrine will now have to demolish Conchita tomorrow.

:fiery: :fiery:

Apr 11th, 2002, 12:56 AM
Please throw some fireballs for me cause I may not be around for tomorrow's match. I have an offsite meeting at work. :(

Apr 11th, 2002, 01:43 AM
Neither will I. I have two exams tomorrow.

Apr 11th, 2002, 06:10 AM
omg I've class... pffff maybe I'll be here in time. I'm going to miss Mary's match

omg all my faves :o

Apr 11th, 2002, 04:52 PM

I skipped classes to see Sandrine and Mary's scores and it's RAINING! OMG I'M SO PISSED :fiery:

Apr 11th, 2002, 10:56 PM
Serves u right :p

Apr 12th, 2002, 06:16 AM

Apr 12th, 2002, 02:59 PM

Apr 12th, 2002, 03:59 PM

*I can only bounce in place as I'm not as nimble as you guys.*

Terry, a word of advice....

Shaving makes them look even bigger. My honey now calls me Raging Bull. ;)

Apr 13th, 2002, 02:47 AM
LOL :o

Apr 13th, 2002, 02:56 AM
LOL @ Ed :o

I believe Anne and Venus will be packing their bags tomorrow and heading to Charleston. :fiery: :fiery: :fiery:

I'll bounce like Ed. I don't know how to make those bouncing balls move around like that. :o

Apr 13th, 2002, 03:02 AM
Sandrine simply cannot lose to Anne tomorrow because Venus-Sandrine will be the feature televised match. :D

Apr 13th, 2002, 03:19 AM
No it won't, stupid

But Sandrine will win anyway! :D

Apr 13th, 2002, 09:13 AM

Yesterday a friend asked me who is my pick in Amelia Island. For some reason I said SANDRINE TESTUD, which astounded the friend, who happens to be a tennis writer. I was thinking about Sandrine's big win in Dubai or wherever that was. Plus, she is so nice, I'd like to see her in the winner's column some more. :)

Now SANDRINE, please don't let me down! (Even though I am REALLY rooting for your good friend JUSTINE!) :hearts:

Apr 13th, 2002, 08:26 PM
5-7 1-6 to Kremer :(

Oh well, Sandrine, we're proud of you! You gave it your all after biased poor scheduling and uncontrollable weather.

Good luck if you decide to play the doubles with Nathalie.

Apr 13th, 2002, 08:30 PM
maybe kicking matthew out of our forum resulted in this loss

janie: :wavey:

just wondering ... are we (scott, nicolas, ed, and myself) becoming more sensitive or are more and more posters becoming assholes?

Apr 13th, 2002, 08:34 PM
I'm the same as I have always been. I think certain posters are just duplicating themselves to try to annoy us. Don't let them bother you.

They wouldn't dare face us IRL, cowards

Apr 13th, 2002, 08:41 PM
Jerome, there was no reason for the two posters (who will remain nameless) to invade the scoring thread. It was obvious they were both trying to start trouble because their faves had lost.

Sandrine showed great heart in beating Conchita but it was obvvious she was moving sluggishly early in the match. I'm confident she'll come back with a vengeance. ;)

Apr 13th, 2002, 08:42 PM
 to Ed and Scott

Apr 14th, 2002, 01:24 AM
:fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery: :fiery:

Poor Sandrine! But she played one helluva marathon the other day...not to mention the el-crappo rain delays/scheduling.

Im sorry I couldnt follow scores but it just got too late...I have no idea what happened witht those posters u guys are referring too...but I guess I'll find out now as Im gonna check it out ;)

Apr 14th, 2002, 01:30 AM
Great fight in the doubles with Nathalie as well. Just wasn't meant to be here.

Good luck in Charleston!
