Ok, so i just got my wimbledon ticket form back from the post (and it says due to people selling their tickets, they arent sending them through!!). I have to pick my tickets up the morning of play at gate 4 (it says they are picking random people to do this). This is absolutely pathetic, i dont want to have to queue up for ages to get my tickets when i have already payed for them. My mum is gonna ring up and complain about this lol (because the tickets are in her name). It also says you need passport/drivers license proof of id for the persons name who applied, my mum isnt going (its just me and my dad ).

Mebbe if you get enough posters, you should email a link to this thread through to some person at wimbledon.

Sounds fair enough to me, just a good job you aren't selling them! I would consider yourself lucky to have tickets I've never managed and have queued every year for the last 5 and shall do again this year. You won't have to queue very long, I doubt more than a few mins. And it's hardly a hardship having to take ID with you.
