This is only an alternate list for MD...most players in qualifying didn't bother to sign up as they knew they won't have a chance to replace a player originally in MD ;)

not sure, and no I doubt the draw will be out on Monday - quallies don't start till Mon 13th June...so I guess the draw will probably be done next weekend some time...

They started doing so a few years ago after ridiculous situations like Marta Marrero being top seed in qualies as world #65 and recently being quarterfinalist in RG :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

This last updated will allow to compete players like Rezai too due to big points won in Paris :)

Qualy draw have 96 players in Melbourne, Paris and London and 128 players in New York ;)

And yeah, qualy draw will be out on Monday...but NOT this next Monday but the 13th

Couldn't the Chinese be smart and logical and move their National Championships such that it would not conflict with Wimbledon? Seems a bit evil to me that the Federation would put the championships in that week - forcing top Chinese players to miss a Grand Slam.

And Why is Chia-Jing Chuang playing the Chinese championships when she represents Taiwan (which we all know wants to separate from China and has been recognized internationally as a separate state)

the last years wimbledon have always a different entry list then the atp or wta rankings. if players played well the year before at wimbledon they are higher in the entry list then on the ranking.

She is from Taiwan....I do not think she is playing for Chinese...I believe she will play Qualifying:wavey:

If I am right that National Championship is a way for each province to get funded so thats why all players feel time to pay back to their provinces also they do not have National games every year...:wavey:

:scratch: But that's the ALT list, not the quallie list, and Misa won't play quallies, she'll be MDO because she's playing Roslamen the week before. And is Wimby the only slam to do this? COz the AO doesn't do this... it always uses the rankings from 6 weeks before, and only the seeds for quallies and MD are changed for the week before's ranking... RG was the same... coz Misa had to play quallies, but she was seeded 6th as she moved up a little...

Tennis won't be the only sport in the National Games. They can't change things to cater only for tennis players. ;)
