Not so unusual actually. But what was is that she was left alive.
She's very fortunate.

Its one thing to have cold feet but to let it go on like this for 3 days is just wrong. She should have called someone once the media blew the situation up, but then again she probably liked that... Her poor family.

You never know. She might have been silenced by her abductors, i.e. they threatened her with blackmail etc.

Why would she be nervous about marriage? The commitment and all? But she's already living with the guy.

Black Mamba.

Will she get charged for this? I think she should if she lied about being kidnapped.

She got cold feet and made up this story. Now it wouldn't be so bad if half of the US wasn't looking for her, including using valuable police and FBI resources - that is where the charges will stem from, and I suspect they will file some sort of complaint since it was such a big ordeal... sad situation.

i read this article earlier today, this woman is beyond stupid. if you're going to run from your own wedding don't concoct a story about being kidnapped that's most definitely going to get the police involved. and how the hell did she think she was going t explain that to her family?!?!? and she ran out of money?? somebody didn't plan well  she should spend a couple of days in prison just for being stupid.

I heard that they are not going to charge her or make her pay for all the costs for looking for her.

Isn't it ironic...she can take the country on this ride and get off scott free but the lady who said she found the finger in the chilli and that lady who said she was the owner of the lottery tickets get charged with crimes....:tape:

Agreed, she should at least have pay restitution to the agency(ies) resources that were used. I think the difference in this situation and the chili finger and lottery ticket frauds are the fact that those two were after financial gain whereas kidnapped lady was scared and confused. I cannot imagine the emotions going through that family after an ordeal like this, I'd be so happy that she was safe, but would damn near strangle her with piano wire when she got home for the way she did it...

Members of the forum, can I get an "I do!"? Amen!

yeah but what I'm hearing it may be a case of emotional instability that she's pulled some stunts in the past for attention. I'm not sure of that though.
