Good Job Ana :worship: . I just watched last 3 games of this one as I woke up late  but I am honestly surprised it was as close

Very good game again by Ana...33 winners, that´s scary and quite impressive.

Anyway, this win was expected and in case Justine wins (which I don´t doubt), it will be a match-up highlight for sure. And again my fave vs. fave...hope it won´t be as dramatic as usual...;)

Ana je carica :yeah:
Šta više reći :D

I saw the second set... a bit messy and dodgy, but hey, I don't mind it! Great stuff, girl :hearts:
Hopefully she plays Justine next

Dechy tried her best. She moved Ana around, she mixed it up, and she played agressive as she could. Ivanovic just had too much power. Dechy is use to losing to 6' + women who don't move great but hit hard so this lost shouldn't hurt her for too long.
Good play from both players.

Ana didn't play that well today. Couldn't convert break points and made errors at the most important moments. Still glad that she pulled through. She can overpower Henin if she comes out firing winners and Henin isn't in good form.

It seemed to be all Ana. Either scorching winners or, errors. Dechy was just responding most of the time.

Anyway good follow-up win for the 17 year-old.

She did the same thing against Zvonareva yesterday but it didn't matter too much because Vera was already crying after she lost the first set. Whoever Ana plays next she cannot let them back into the match. She'll have to step it up to win in the semis.

Well done Ana.:worship: :worship:

Henin Hardenne is a different game altogther, Hopefully she can step up and hopefully win.

It looks like ana enjoys the way the opponents serve sits up on this surface. She goes for the return winner whenever she can. Justines serve may be a bit too god for that though ( i hope not;) ).

Short rallies...Ivanovic pretty agressive, Dechy's poor defense made the difference

If you compare Ana to the top five players she seems to lack their consistency and agression. She made hard work of Dechy today... A bit more focus and the match would have been 30 min shorter. Tomorrow will be interesting. I doubt Henin will give her the chances that Dechy gave her today. Eventually she will have to make that next step because the talent is clearly there.

I think she only lacks consistency but that comes with repetition and experience. However aggression is clearly there as far as I can see.

she's not as agressive as the top five. she slacked off on a few occasions in this match and it almost got her in trouble. the killer instinct of a world top 5 isn't there yet and that's something to work on. best candidate to challenge the sharapova-williams-beligians monopoly all the same.

Nathalie is just ugly to see playing...how such a girl can be 13th in the world ? Hmm..

She needs to work on her foot-work and speed and accuracy...if the ball goes in, it looks like magic but too often the ball goes just wide out. She´s certainly on the way to be a top player, no doubt about that and I guess the foot work thing is nothing she can´t work on in the next few years. She can make up her lack of speed with her amazing shots like Lindsay...oh and second serve needs work, but which women doesn´t?

Wow, she's beating top 15 players pretty easily.

To the top 10 Ana!:rocker:

Dechy is not a tough player on clay, I thought Ana was very impressive bit it was not the case, a lot of winner but also a lot of errors,in the second set a break thanks to the net, dechy since her semi final at the AO is very poor player.Last week she was beaten in two straight sets by Meusberger, and performed bad since January.Tomorrow Henin will win indubitably

Ivanovic is really having a great year. She could be a potential sleeper to make it far at the remaining grand slams this year.

She is not a sleeper, she will be a top player sooner rather than later. Those who ignore her will pay for it

Justine's doesn't! :p

I agree about foot speed, Anna is very vulnerable on the run! ;)
Hopefully she's working on it!! :D
