Boris' Daughter Chats On TV

Boris Becker may have shown a precocious talent on the tennis court when he won Wimbledon for the first time aged just 17... but his daughter is proving just as advanced.

Five-year-old Anna appeared on a German TV show and declared that she looks a lot like her dad - before adding that she quite likes being famous, thanks very much.

Anna is the result of a brief moment of passion between Boris and her mother Angela Ermakowa in a cupboard at London's Nobu restaurant in 1999.

Boris first knew about Anna's existence when her mother contacted the tennis star eight months into her pregnancy.

And afterwards, Boris described the incident with Angela as "an act that lasted five seconds. I never saw her before and never saw her again afterwards."

The resemblance between Boris and his daughter doesn't just stop at their forthright no nonsense chat, mini Becker has her father's piercing blue eyes and ginger mane.

Although she lives with her mother in London, she did an interview with her mother for German TV.

She held up a picture of her father and declared in English: "This is my papa, he looks sweet. He has blue eyes. I look a lot like him."

She then held up a tennis racket - thought to be Boris' oldest - and said: "It was a present from papa."

She went on to reveal a hint of confusion as to her father's heritage when she admitted: "I thought Steffi Graf was his sister until someone said she wasn't."

Her mother told the interviewer that she hoped her daughter would grow up to be as famous as her father - to which little Anna chipped in: "I like it, being famous."

Miss Ermakowa also added: "When she is old enough I will tell her that I loved her father, and what happened was fate."

I'm a Boris fans too, I think that kid's mama needs to be slapped for putting her on TV.

That said, I hope the kid has a great life.
