this couldbe a great match. patty is having a great year being number 6 in the race and hasn't lost a match in straight sets this year (has played Lindsay, Amelie, Elena twice in those losses). Justine is Justine.

Henin has a big advantage in H2H but all but one have been very good quality 3 set matches.

I think this is a tough one to pick.

Patty 6-0, 6-0.

Schynder has been the most consistent player on clay this season. She's playing her game and making people beat her for the most part. Henin-Hardenne won in Charleston but had a mental lapse in every one of her matches in the tourni. She doesn't look to be having that issue this week. Yet. If this match would have been played 2 weeks ago then Schynder would have won in three sets. Schynder has a chance if she makes this a moving match. Henin still isn't moving as good as she was before the virus. I just think Henin has even stepped it up even more. She really wants to play Clijsters in the final and beat her. To prove to herself she's at the top 5 level of play. She should be able to win in three. She has the game to beat Schynder right now.

I think Justine will, but as Patty is one of the most talented girls in the circuit and I like her tennis very much I bet a little amount for her just in case ;)

I picked a 3-set win for Justine. I like Patty, so I want her to give some work to Henin, and I think she will. Justine still has the weapons to beat her, though so she has the edge here.

And every time a lot of controversy.

She always lost to Kim and Justine and it was never a fair battle, according to Patty.

The linesmen were always making mistakes, ...

It's incredible how she behaves.

It's going to be a lot of fun if she loses to Justine. She never gives any credit to Justine and Kim. She always has the feeling that she should have won that match, ...

Australian Open 2004 - after loss to Clijsters

Patty Schnyder lost to Kim Clijsters 2-6 6-7

Q. You had your chances there in the second set. What is the emotion? Are you angry, disappointed?

PATTY SCHNYDER: Yeah, I mean, it was a very close second set. I just -- I mean, I didn't have set points but I was really close.

I think she played unbelievable good match. How she came off and started the match, it was really impressive. So I'm still happy to -- the way I played in the second and I could challenge her more.

yes she never gives them any credit ;)

of course the 2 matches you speak of out the 8 or so she has played against the belgians just happened to be in belgium.

Did you start this thread on purpose to jinx the match? It was atrocious.
