Another great win for Lucie. :D

Down 3-6 0-3, and 3-5 in the second. And down 2-4 in the third. :bolt:

Lucie then had 2 match points on Krajicek's serve at 4-5, but blew them. She also had 11 double faults in the match. :retard:

Next up is Mariana Diaz-Oliva.

 This is the second time this year Misa had match point(s) in the second set and still lost the match... first against Morigami in Memphis and now this... In the end I guess she just got too tired... but she's still young and learning and soon she'll take those chances!! (I really don't believe it was a choke...)

Anyway, well done Lucie! ;)

I love it how you are calling her pathetic for losing this match and giving away leads and apparently not playing 'like one of the best young players', when you actually haven't seen any points of this match and are in no position whatsoever to judge her game during this match. Or Safarova's game, for that matter.

Michaella is over hyped on this board. She's got a good serve and volleys but she isn't that good at moving. Hitting powerfully and has a Zvonareva type temperant. She probably cried a lot during the match.

Who's Safarova  How does she play

the girls under 18 will be overhyped on this board. it's our tradition :o

The Dutch people on this board put way too much pressure on her :o You can't expect her to reach the top as if that's a piece of cake!

Safarova is having a great tournament. Don't think it can last too much longer.

Lucie was a pretty good junior she's only just 18.

here's a vid of her in action vs Maria Kirilenko in World Junior finals 2001 (U14 team event)

see if it works, i lost the link but the vid is on my PC.

The Krajicek fans are already as insufferable as some of the fans of top players... Misa this and Misa that, as if she should be winning every match she plays even though she's not even in the top 100 yet :o

Already they're not giving credit to her opponents :o

Well done Lucie :yeah:

Was it a high-quality match? If so, I think Misa played well because she was so close on 3 different ocassions.
