i am english and an arsenal fan but i could not satnd the site of chelsea or liverpool winning the champions league.

I hope PSV or Milan win the tournament.

It would be a disgarce if liverpool won as then everton who are currently fourth in the premiership would not get into next seasons champions league.

arsenal for the treble next season!!!

:retard:

it's up to the FA's discretion how they want to hand out the places. if you win the champions league, the most prestigious club competition in the world, you deserve to defend it IMO.

PSV all the way. Boring Italian teams.

If Liverpool win it, then they should have the right to defend their trophy, so it would be tough luck Everton.

As much as it would be good for English football to have a smaller side in the CL, I don't think they'd represent English football as well as Liverpool. Everton have had a good season, but like Ipswich a few years back, will likely be struggling again next season, rotating European and Premiership football

hey andy mac

AC Milan are a very good team. They defend very well, in fact they have only conceded one goal at their home ground, the San Siro in the champions league tournament. After beating PSV Milan stretched their run to 7 consecutive victories in the champions league. they are currently battling for the Italian seria A title with Juventus.

Milan have some world class players such as Schevchenko and Maldini.

Howver the best team in europe right now are probably chelsea from england. They have the best goalkeeper in the world in petr cech. They have only lost once in their domestic league and need one point to win the premiership title. Chelsea are a major force in european football after they were bought by russian billionaire Roman Abramovich. Their manager Jose Mourinho is also very good.

All this is very hard for me to say as i support another english club called arsenal who unfortunatley have not done so well this season.

Chelsea face fellow english side liverpool in the second semi final of the champions league on wednesday evening - uk time.

Italian teams are not boring, i love the way they play.
It's all about the result , and that's how you have to play.
Not for entertaining us. Winning is the only things that mathers.
A coach can't let his team play attractive football and take 15 points in 10 games. He need at least 24 points and the way how it doesn't mather, results are the most important thing.

And im not a fan of Milan.

PS: i speak as a fan now , for me it's more important that the results are bether then the way they did it. 3 points and the title are the most important thing in football.

I've seen a couple of matches of Italian teams but bloody hell they are boring to watch ! And I don't speak about the supporters there : No atmosphere at all : You can easily fall asleep. I've no interest in Italian football but I will always have respect for Gianfranco Il Magnifico Zola and Roberto Baggio : The 2 best Italian players I've seen in my life.
Juve ? Boring against Liverpool, Boring against Inter, Boring at Lazio.
Milan ? Their 2-0 lead is totaly undeserved : PSV deserved to score at least 1 goal but yeah they weren't lucky at all !

I don't want only the 3 points, I also want to see beautifull and class football.

Name 1 team that plays always class football and take the 3 points ?

No team can do that !!

Hmmm, now Arsenal are the only other English team I want to do well in the Champions league except us of course. I wanted Newcastle and Boro to do well in the Uefa cup too. If we win it, we should so be able to defend it......even if Everton finished 4th. That would be so funny :haha: for us Liverpool fans obviously.

BritneySpearsIsHot

Italian football is really boring.

Only one lot of football is worse.......French Le Championnat, that really is [Blocked Ads]

And in any case I only support my English team and My Czech team, being half and half of each nationality.

I see little point in supporting teams outside my country, you can never love a club as much from another country, I live and breathe Boro, Emola does with Liverpool, Dirty Sanchez with his dirty rotten Geordies that will give us a pasting tonight and so on.

You can admire and follow, but you'd not be able to bleed like a homebased fan.

I couldn't support......erm.....Sturm Graz.....in the same way I do Boro....I can't even support Banik Ostrava in the same way as Boro, yet are my 2nd team and all of my families first team.

Like Emola, I found myself hoping Newcastle would do well in UEFA Cup [Blocked Ads] and cheer on the English sides in Europe.....Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelski, Man U........whoever........really don't mind.

I mean, I'm a passionate person in every way, If i believe something I will say it, I don't get upset at people 'attacking me' or disagreeing, but I do drum my opinion into people. With the football, I follow my team with passion and I'm the teams worst critic but best defender too. Football is a passionate thing and outside of my sisters/step-mum/best friends/lovers I have no other interest that comes close.

Luckily, all my sisters love football :yeah:

I love Italian football

They are the most tense games and its hard to tell who will win, there is competition to the higgest level and all matches show a good range of skill and high performance.

Im a Manchester United fan right through, my second team is AC Milan, and i have never seen a team as well organised, presise and skilled as them.

Ive never seen a boring Serie A match, and i watch 90% of them.

AC MILAN TO WIN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

Chelsea and Liverpool gave in to the European style.

There should not be 2 legs, make all games 1 leg in the knockout stages, real Cup football, none of the mamby pamby chess games.

The reason Liverpool do so well in Europe is because of the Euro style, in the premiership they have too many pansies for the physical side

Emola
Apr 27th, 2005, 10:19 PM
pansies? ;)

I've not actually seen the game (its on tape!), so cant comment on it but yes, we do play a lot better in Europe.

There's another reason behind it... Milan FC still sorta belongs to Mr. Berlusconi, hte 'outstanding' Italian Premier... and I guess there's a good deal of people who took a certain pleasure in seeing him face defeat like that  (yes, count me among those  )
