Daniela was down 0-3 in second and came back to have a Mp at 5-4 but wasted it but was able to close it out!! Good job.. you need to play better against Bovina though!

Glad to see Dani get the win, but why does she make all of her matches so close?!?! Good luck next round, you'll need to step it up quite a bit to make Bovina worry though.

All that matters is who won the last point and Daniela did so good luck against Bovina. Daniela always struggles against lowly ranked players, she doesn't like ahving the pressure of expectation of victory.

Daniela better learn how to handle that pressure better than she did against #1121 ranked Melanie Gloria last year, who lost 1-6 1-6 to an unknown qualifier at Esteroil today.

Did Hantuchova play up to her potential 3 years ago? At the time she was ranked in top 10. Tennis commentators predicted that she had the capability to win a slam. She's ranked in the top 25 now but how long can she maintain her ranking when players ranked below her are catching up to her. The problem with Danela is that she just does not move well. Lindsay Davenport also lacks movement but she has good reach. She can usually start a point over with a defensive lob. Hantuchova doesn't use her reach well. She also doesn't have the power of the top players. In this day and age on the WTA tour, a player has to move well if they don't have the power to end a baseline rally. Hantuchova isn't even in the same league as Ivanovic, Vaidisova, Jankovic, or Golovon right now. If she's going to change that, then she has to work on her movement and mental toughness. If she doesn't she'll most likely be a player hovering around the top 30 for the next 8 years.

Hantuchova has a chance against Bovina. They both have movement issues so whoever makes the other player move the most wins the match. Bovina has won in Warsaw before though so she does know how to play the surface.
