Shana Claes is also playing this week!
She plays in Bournemouth ($10,000), the tournament Elke Clijsters won last year.
She is the second seed in the quallies, so she should reach the main draw! :)

Apr 25th, 2005, 03:43 PM
Saturday I've talked to Debbrich's dad and he said that she was mental broken, he also said it's pretty sad to see Van Hyfte en Butkiewicz playing Fed Cup because Debbrich beated them both some years ago. So let's hope Debbrich can find her old rythm back and get's more self-confident, and that she will be a great player.

Apr 25th, 2005, 03:50 PM
Why doesn't she take some time off and enjoy life?

Apr 25th, 2005, 04:44 PM
Yep, sounds like a plan to me :) First enjoying life again, that will lead the way to enjoying tennis again :)

Torrent $25,000:
Q3 (6) Maes (BEL) beat (15) Pascual-Rodriguez (ESP) 6-1 6-0

Breadstick and bagel! :yeah:

Caroline will play top seed Paula Garcia (WTA-144) in the 1st round
In doubles, she's playing with Spiegel (ARG).

Poor Debbrich, I'm sure it must be hard to lose all the time... I also think she should either take a break or quit professional tennis, full stop. Nobody wants to be ranked round 500 for their whole career.

Apr 25th, 2005, 05:01 PM
Way to go, Caroline :bounce:

Aww, poor Debbrich, I hope she'll make the right decision :awww:

Apr 25th, 2005, 05:03 PM
well done Caroline ;)

keep fighting Debbrich... you'll find your old rythm back!

Apr 26th, 2005, 10:58 AM

Debbrich really needs to think what's best for her...but keeping on playing the way she is, that's really sad.

Kim def. Perebiynis 7-5 6-7 6-1 ... I wonder to know what happenned there!! I hope the wrist is ok !!

Kim :yeah:

from the stats, it seems both played really well, so we can say Tathiana pushed Kim to 3 sets ;)

Good luck against Kirilenko.

Apr 26th, 2005, 02:52 PM
As long as there is no injury, playing a match like this at the moment is actually good for Kim. It will give her rhythm on the clay and it seems that is what happened in set 3. Both girls played well by the stats.

Apr 26th, 2005, 05:54 PM
Kim  I know clay isn't Kim's favourite surface but I didn't expect a 3-setter! Who's up next? :)
