According to the current rankings, Lindsay  IS dominating women's tennis. She's disqualified from this discussion.

Venus Williams :worship: would dominate women's tennis again if she'd check her ego and hire a coach from the outside.

Serena Williams :hearts: would dominate women's tennis again if she'd quit trying to be the black Kournikova and concentrate on being a tennis player.

Amelie Mauresmo could dominate women's tennis if she could find a good sports psychologist.

Kim Clijsters could dominate women's tennis if she weren't so darn nice.

Justine Henin-Hardenne could dominate women's tennis again if she could stay healthy for an extended period of time.

Elena Dementieva could dominate women's tennis if she'd learn how to serve.

Svetlana Kuznetsova could dominate women's tennis if she were in better physical condition.

Anastasia Myskina could dominate women's tennis if.....no, she couldn't. She peaked at Roland Garros last year.

Maria Sharapova WILL dominate women's tennis when (a)puberty finally finishes with her and (b)she gains more experience.

Kournikova herself is responsible for her being seduced by the dark side, not her agents.

Elena Dementieva would dominate tennis is she had Maria's mental tenacity. The serve is not the biggest issue IMO, its more about her mantal belief at the highest level... if her mental toughness improved, she'd use her new serve even more. :)

An obvious one:

Hm, it has nothing to do with her serve.

I saw most of her matches against Justine and Kim and I never had the idea that it was her weak serve that made the difference. She just lacks something in her game to beat the top players. She isn't able to outplay Kim, because Kimis so fast and Dementieva can't cope with the weight of the ball of Kim. The number of forced errors of Elena are always enormous against Kim. She is just not able to return those balls. That's one the reasons she always gets hammered by Kim.

Justine is something else. She has always more problems beating lesser players than Kim, but it doesn't mean that she is easier to beat than Kim. A lot of players already know that.
