Thank you Evgeni :)

GBR should beat Denmark, they will not beat Serbia (if Ana & Jelena play) and Slovenia will be tricky, but at least they will get the experience of playing good players :)

Slovenia will probably finish on top of Group C.
If only Ana Ivanovic played. Serbia will definetly beat Demark and will struggle against Britain but we will win in the end. Slovenia will be very hard to beat. SO if Serbia finishes second in their group do they still have a chance to get to World Group?

Draw for Europe/Africa Zone Group I (Article from fedcup.com)

The draw has been made for the Europe/Africa Zone Group I event in Antalya, Turkey.

The sixteen competing nations have been drawn into four pools of four :
Pool A: Bulgaria, Hungary, South Africa, Estonia
Pool B: Luxembourg, Netherlands, Sweden, Poland
Pool C: Slovenia, Serbia & Montenegro, Great Britain, Denmark
Pool D: Israel, Ukraine, Belarus, Greece.

Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Slovenia and Israel are seeded to win their round-robin pools. Bulgaria, led by Magdalena Maleeva and rising talent Sesil Karatantcheva, will have to overcome, amongst others, Estonia, who reached the World Group Play-offs last year, while second seeds Israel, led by Anna Smashnova and another talented youngster in Shahar Peer, take on Ukraine and Belarus, who also reached the World Group Play-offs in 2004 in what is probably the toughest group.

Luxembourg will be keen to build on its promotion from Group II last year while Slovenia, relegated from the World Group last year, will bid to regain that place in face of dangerous opposition from Serbia & Montenegro, who have Jelena Jankovic in their line-up, the highest-ranked player on show.

Each team plays the others in its group from Wednesday 20 April to Friday 22 April. The winner of Pool A will play the winner of Pool B and the winner of Pool C will play the winner of Pool D on Saturday 23 April for the two places in the World Group II Play-offs.

(Even it don't matter much, Caroline will win ithink) ;)

definitely ANA JOVANOVIC she had good results lately, has her own couch, very focused into getting to top 100. I heard she hits the ball as hard and precise as ANA Ivanovic. So here Serbia will for sure take a clean sweep.
I can't find any info on Caroline  is she any good?
Slovenia :fiery: is the only BIG problem, but I think Serbia will have to wait untill next year when Ivanovic,Jankovic and Dokic will RULE :worship:

I don't know if this was posted before: doubles SLO - GB, Katarina didn't play;

Klepač/Križan : O'Donoghue/Baltacha 6:1, 6:4

For the future reference: Slovenian site sportal (http://sportal.siol.net/default.asp?site_id=1006) has the most up to date results/news/details about matches that involve Slovenian players I could find so far. No new pictures though. If anyone needs/wants translation of the post-match statements from Tina / Katarina or Mima translated I can do that (I don't know if they are somewhere officially in English), just send me a PM.

Looks like Tina still has some health problems. I hope she will be OK.

Hello jeanne & drimal04

Look on the bright side, LUX can still win their group... although they will have to get past Krajicek first. But I know they can do it if they just forget how to play such horrible, horrible tennis. Also if they lose the next one they should definitely put Minella & Philippe in for the final tie.

PS: nice avatar drimal! ;)
