returning to the tour? A few of my friends went down to Saddlebrook during March for preseason, and Hingis was in the court next to them practicing/training. I saw some pictures and she decked out in her Adidas apparel and all. Does Martina have any exhibitions coming up? I mean I dont think she would still be training at Saddlebrook if she wasnt contemplating a return...right?

Surely there's a possibility she's just playing to keep in shape and have fun...

But I'd like to think she's preparing for a comeback. :D

I think that's the case. Most of the "marquee players" for WTT only play for one or two nights. Hingis is playing for six. She's also deliberately picked the matches where she'll get the best competition too. She'll be playing Raymond, Shaughnessy, and Navratilova in singles/doubles among others. She'll also be playing challenger level players to get the wins she needs to restore her confidence (Evie Dominikovic, Channelle Scheepers, Jamea Jackson

If she is planning a comeback, she is doing it very smartly.

While I'm sure that returning to the WTA would make her happier:D than competing in the World Team Tennis matches, she is realistic and knows that WTT is the only option for her at the moment:worship: So good luck Martina, have fun!:hearts:

I think she's training really hard and planning to return to the tour and surprise everyone by winning things right away ala-Clijsters :)

Do I see Martina going back to a full time training schedule required for playing on the tour?

...no

if Martina could beef up her serve, no reason she couldnt come back and compete well.

I hope Martina comes back. :D
Since she left the tour, I've been losing my passion to WTA day by day.

Go, Martina!

losign to weingartner is definately not good signWell she did win the first set easily, 6-1. She still has the game, she just needs to get into better shape and she'll be able to last for a whole match.

Yes it's true, she only needs improve her shape and her serve. First thing is only a matter or time...

This is an unbelievable question!Anyone who knows anything about tennis knows someone like Hingis nees no coaching whatsoever at this point in her life. You should switch to gol!
Also, once and for all.Martina's life operation restored her ankle to the condition of normal human being but not as a pro.Her surgeon was clear about it:past 2 -3 hrs of practice a day severe immflamaion and pain sets in.Once and for all:she is NEVER comming back as aplayer.I'll take real dollar bets on it anytime.
