In thinking about the upcoming Grand Slam, and with so many people who could win the thing, what do you think will be the story at Roland Garros for the women this year?

Here are my choices:

15. Lindsay announces retirement after getting blown off the court by Kim.
14. Martina Navratilova gets a wildcard and makes it to the semis or wins the whole thing.
13. All past champions in the last four years, get bounced in the first round.
12. Jennifer Capriati comes back and wins it.
11. Amelie Mauresmo retires after losing an easy match in the semis.
10. Nadia Petrova wins something
09. The last eight finalists and champions make up the quarters and it is a face off of past champions and finalists.
08. Alexandra Stevenson or chanda rubin win it all.
07. Venus stops losing matches she shouldn't be losing.
06. Serena and Jennifer meets up in the finals for a thrilling 4 hour match with tie breakers in each set.
05. The semifinals will feature Belgian vs. Belgian and Williams vs. Williams.
04.Martina Nav and Chris Evert wins the doubles.
03. Martina Hing and Anna Kournikova reteam to win
02. Cablevision picks up the Tennis Channel
01. Nadal announces he is really the son of Agassi and Graf, the one they had before anyone knew they were dating.

myskina succesfully defends her crown inspite of losing in the first or second rounds in the warm-ups.

davenport wins the title without: developing an 'injury', swearing or slumping her shoulders.

sharapova gets to the finals without shrieking or screaming - her acceptance speech reveals she has strained her vocal cords.

mauresmo plays two matches in a row without any nerves at all.

henin puts up her other hand against clisters.

clisters switches and gives henin what for.

serena gets cheered by the parisienne crowd.

venus smells the roses and does away with the manure.

peng wins it all.

i'm a bit depressed - so get ready for some sad shit.

lindsay announces retirement due to bashing she recieved the night before.
a player is murdered.
a mad fan with a knife part II
the french open announces it returns to a closed format and will not accept non-french players.
russians and americans (or any country) boycot the FO due to politics.
players are held hostages.
bnicole vaidisova/ana ivanovic/sania mirza/other youngster announce retirement due to the fact they finally can stop playing now that they returned the money thier parents owned to the mob, or a crazy think like that.
food poison.
WWIII begins.
any player becomes first time champion and starts crying her heart out without anybody understanding why, and later her body is found full of steroids.
judges/players sell matches.
women's prize money reduced to 50K since they aren't important in relevance to men.
the new pope announces the outfits aren't to his liking and all catholic girls withdraw because thier sponsering companies refuse to change thier contracts.
earthquacke, tsunami, flood - something that will kill thousands anywhere in the world.
a players relative dies and she withdraws.

sorry.
feeling shitty right now.

The tyrant would have been removed last November, had the report that said there were no MWD been released to the public. But the 1,400 person US survey team that spent two years and countless millions of dollars scurrying all over Iraq was not allowed to publish its findings until January, because they did not want to "politicize" their report, meaning Bush was running for relection on his fight against terrorism and had one key part of that proven to have been a sham, voters might have kicked him out of office. Just recently, the presidential commission said the same thing, there were no MDWs in Iraq and no facilities to make them. Again, this report was released after Bush was reelected.

There are lots of tyrants in this world and nobody appointed the Bush administration to go around ousting them. Especially when they just happen to be sitting on the world's second largest oil supply.
