If I have tickets for No.1 Court, does that automatically mean I have access to all of the grounds, or do I need a separate grounds pass? I've never been to Wimbledon before so I don't know the procedure. I entered the ballot and only just got a letter back today saying that I've got a pair of tickets to No.1 Court on the final Friday :D

Yes, you have access to all of the grounds. :)

But Court No.1 on final Friday ??? That's only doubles and Legend's matches. :o

You can go anywhere you like except Centre Court
not that there will be much going on except if you like juniors (probably playing QF if on schedule)

#1 tickets for Final Friday :o
i wouldnt pay for that

but you could get lucky and get a mens QF (or SF) with lots of rain. otherwise you'd only get OAP's playing doubles with probably 1 other doubles match.

Also on 2nd Friday you can easily get in just queuing up (same cases just walk in), just pay for a ground pass and you'll get a much better deal.

 Thanks for the answers :yeah:

Yeah I know that it's only doubles but I don't care because

1) I like doubles anyway :D
2) I wasn't expecting to get tickets since its now the middle of April and they said if I haven't heard from them by March, I had been unsuccessful.

So, if I just bought a grounds pass, where would I be able to go? Not the show courts right?

On the second Friday, it's very likely there'll be spare seats on No 1 Court anyway, and most of the stewards are lovely people who'll let you in. I definitely wouldn't pay the money for a No 1 Court ticket.

Courts 3-18 but you can get to see Court 2 from top of Court 3 stand (always a popular attraction as you only pay for ground pass and watch court 2 without paying for that).
Or you can get to stand on right at top of Court 2 stands (too far away IMO) to get a good view)

Not sure if they sell tickets for Court 2 on 2nd friday

On the last Friday, with a ground pass, you can go anywhere, except Court 1 and Centre court, but by that stage, unless there is a really big match on court 1, it's easy enough to queue up and get a court 1 tickets if you want one. I remember one year when I went to watch Vivi & Paola in their doubles semi on Court 2, the stewards were practically *beggiing* me to buy one of the many Court 1 tickets they had left on sale! lol! The only thing is, with the weather, you can't ever be 100% sure of what will be going on on court 1 that day, and, therefore, how many people will want to queue up for tickets. It depends on whether you want to take a chance, or pay the money to make sure you have a Court 1 ticket.
