After the massive 9.3 richterscale earthquake and tsunami in Aceh, December 26 last year put many things down, include 126,000 innocent people, schools, public facilities, houses, people lost their family, etc.. , then another 8.7 magnitude earthquake rocked Nias Island, North Sumatra in late March not along time ago killed not less than 670 people and destroyed almost everything there, then 6.7 earthquake hit Mentawai Island, West Sumatra in April 11th and killed more than 6 people and made citizens of Padang panic...
and now.. 9 volcanoes in Sumatra and Java Island have shown some increasing activities. Mt. Marapi and Mt. Talang in West Sumatra, Mt. Anak Krakatau in Sunda Strait, Mt. Gede and Mt. Tangkuban Perahu in West Java, Mt. Merbabu and Mt. Merapi in Central Java, Mt. Bromo (i've been there once) and Mt. Semeru in East Java.
The most serious eruption is that of Mount Talang, on Sumatra island, which blew ash and rocks high into the sky when it erupted Tuesday, dumping more than 20 centimeters of ash on surrounding villages and prompting the evacuation of some 26,000 people. It was still rumbling Wednesday morning, prompting officials to raise the alert level.
The other volcano, Mount Tangkuban Perahu, about 1,500 kilometers south on Java island, has not erupted, but geologists have been recording increasing activity and have declared the surrounding area off limits.
I believe the eartquakes series have caused these..
so guys let's pray to God, so He would stop all these disasters..
