'View' Co-Host Hasselbeck Has Baby Girl

NEW YORK - Elisabeth Hasselbeck, a co-host of ABC's "The View," has given birth to a baby girl. Hasselbeck and her husband, NFL quarterback Tim Hasselbeck, announced the birth of their daughter, who weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces, in a New York hospital Wednesday.

The baby shares the same birthday as her father, ABC said.

She is the couple's first child.

"Both Elisabeth and I are extremely excited and we're so happy that everyone is healthy," Hasselbeck said in a statement.

Hasselbeck, who will be on maternity leave for about six weeks, will reveal the baby's name during a phone call Thursday to her co-hosts on the daytime chat fest.

She is a former contestant of "Survivor: The Australian Outback."

I too love Elisabeth from survivor.
But now that she's on The View....ugh! So annoying, but then again, all of the women on the view make me wanna puke!
Anyways, she seems like a nice and sweet girl, congrats to the Hasselbecks! :)
