Hi,

I'm Fernando from France, today I've serv at 150 km/h, my best service.
That's make 94 miles per hour.

I'm going to make a game, give your age and your (real) speed serv, and we will see who are in the top 10 :

For my its :
Ok I find better than me, but we have to do something with speed and age....

year Speed Mph
11 94 mph

So if I do 94/11 = 8,5 MPH per year :bounce:

Not bad no ??? Anybody have a better score....

Help me to start the game, but give real information with your age and your service speed.

Sportily

You can choose a pro player and do the same game Speed/age if you don't play yourselve. :bounce:

But don't choose Roddick for every body....

well, I'm 17, and my fastest recorded serve is 182km/h = 113mph, which pretty much gets owned by good players, but I'm proud of getting past 180. What's this game about?

I'm probably going to make a top 10 speed service on my web site for "Tennis Amateur and pro"....

The game is to be in this top 10...

For me I think I will cacul Speed per age !!!

For example : 11 years old 93 mph will make 8,45 :bounce:
This is the first référence

Again for Roddick : 150 mph and 22 years old make 6,8

What do you think about it ?
(Of course it's only a virtual score, and Andy has a better serv than me... for the moment....)

I think this formula and game is stupid. And of course your current speed/age ratio is higher than Andy's. Ever heard of a plateau? I'm sure your ratio will begin to rapidly decline as you reach the teen years. And are your service speeds from serves during actual matches or just practice. Big difference.

I kind of agree. Younger people will always have an advantage there. Like from 20-30, there will be a minimal difference in serve speed, but the 20 year old will have a much better rating according to your system.
