Justine Henin-Hardenne Signs With SFX

WASHINGTON-- SFX Sports Group, the world's premier sports marketing and representation agency, today signed tennis icon Justine Henin-Hardenne to an exclusive representation agreement. SFX agents Ken Meyerson and Colin Smeeton will handle all of Henin-Hardenne's off-and-on court activities. The signing of Henin-Hardenne reflects SFX's commitment to building a tennis powerhouse; the sports marketing agency also represent some of the tennis world's top players including: Andy Roddick; Andre Agassi; Mardy Fish; The Bryan Brothers; Vera Zvonareva; Fernando Gonzalez and Paradorn Srichaphan.

"We are excited to work with Justine," said Colin Smeeton, SFX Sports Group. Smeeton continued, "She is a champion, she is a role model, she is everything that is great about tennis and she hasn't even scratched the surface of her true potential. This is a dream client."

Stated Henin-Hardenne, "I am excited to work with Colin, Ken and the rest of the team at SFX."

The 22 year-old Belgian native won five events in 2004, including a gold medal at the summer Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. Henin-Hardenne has three Grand Slam wins, including the French Open, the US Open, and the Australian Open. Her five wins in 2004 were only three wins off her career high of eight in 2003, and part of 19 wins so far in her young career. She has been number one twice in her career, including ending 2003 ranked number one.

Justine Henin-Hardenne will be the fourth SFX tennis client who has held a number one world ranking.
