This match was SO TYPICAL of Amy. She's playing like crap, goes down a set and 5-1, gets it back to 5-4 and is serving to level the match at 5-5...and gets broken at love:rolleyes:

Her game has top 20 written all over it, but she's too nice to make it as a big name player. Oh well...judging by results this year, it's back to the 35-50 ranking she's been stuck in for the better part of the last 11 years.

Very nice Kveta. No DF is good. 31 Winners 25 UEs, thats better than yesterday. If Kveta hits every ball in against Lindsay, it will be a good match! Against Capriati at last year's FrenchOpen she was servin at 5-3 but then played horrible. Take your chances Kveta!!!

amy was hitting the ball damn well in the last 2 matches. she's really gotta start pulling through these ones. her game is so effective.

though, truly, it's not much of a surprise on clay.

Good for Kveta in her comeback, but it's troublesome that Amy just can't string any matches together. I don't think she has had a good tournament since the beginning of the year in Australia.

Not sure if she is done yet, but her matches seem to indicate that she is headed that direction and it would be sad if it is.

Not a shocking result considering Frazier hasn't done much this year. Still the winner was only playing for the right to get annihilated by Davenport in all probability.

Kveta is underrated. sometimes i think it's because people don't know who she is - i know i certainly didn't for a while.

as Hrdlickova she was always a player who had a lot ability but just didn't turn up from match to match. kind of slightly less talented version of her doubles partner this week ;)

maybe marriage has helped them both settle down (although i hope for kveta's sake that Mr Peschke is not anything like Rainer I Want To Be Johny Depp Hoffman)

omg. yes Kveta is talented. She hits the shit out of the ball as well. Once Hingis played her and they were 5-5 in the first set, Hingis commented after winning the match, "there is no way someone can continue to play that sort of tennis" ... unfortunantly hingis was right and Kveta lost in straight sets, but it showed how good she can be when she's on.

This is Torsten Peschke. He owns a Fitness-Club since 2005 and they married in May 2003. At the beginning of the year he was a little busy, so Kveta had to travel in Australia on her own. But now, in America, Torsten coaches her and supports her. :wavey:
