(1) Davenport def. Brandi 64 63tennisIlove09 Apr 6th, 2005, 12:20 AM GOOOOO Lindsay! Mase Apr 6th, 2005, 12:21 AM 10 aces and 49 winnders, thats crazy! Go Lindsay!!! SelesFan70 Apr 6th, 2005, 12:22 AM  LindsayRocks89 Apr 6th, 2005, 12:22 AM she made alot of errors, i'm sure she was just having a hissy fit out there too, but she did have 10 aces and 49 winners. good luck in the next round Linds :worship: Venus_Serena Apr 6th, 2005, 12:33 AM :D ..... 49 winners:eek: VeeReeDavJCap81 Apr 6th, 2005, 12:50 AM Go Lindsay. 49 winners  xcrtbckhnd Apr 6th, 2005, 12:52 AM Good job Lindsay, and nice to see Kristina at least winning a round here. It was closer than I thought it would be in this match. Lindsay must have made a lot of errors to get to that close of a scoreline with that many winners! Harju. Apr 6th, 2005, 12:54 AM Congrats Linsday :worship: charmedRic Apr 6th, 2005, 12:59 AM Niiiiiiice. :-D Geisha Apr 6th, 2005, 01:02 AM Nice win, L-Dav!! LiliaLee-Frazier Apr 6th, 2005, 01:03 AM Niiiiiiice. :-D Nice win Lindsay..its also good to see Kristina come out of her slump this tourney and give Lindsay a pretty close match :D :bounce: Wannabeknowitall Apr 6th, 2005, 01:11 AM OK. Well if she had 49 winners then she'll get rid of those UEs. You don't serve 10 aces on clay against anyone. Good job Lindsay just lower the UE. bw2082 Apr 6th, 2005, 01:13 AM go lindsay! JenFan75 Apr 6th, 2005, 01:15 AM Good job Linds :bounce: WhatTheDeuce Apr 6th, 2005, 01:39 AM The statisticians at this event are strange. Everybody seems to have an unusually high number of winners, and amazing ratios. Something's wrong. :p Congrats Lindsay. :) RenaSlam. Apr 6th, 2005, 02:00 AM Way to go, Lindsay!!!!! :bounce: bis2806 Apr 6th, 2005, 02:04 AM Wow! 49 winners is AMAZING. But, seriously, the scoreline was kind of close. -Kieron- Apr 6th, 2005, 02:05 AM Good win Davenport. An amazing amount of winners! :) WhatTheDeuce Apr 6th, 2005, 02:30 AM She didn't really have 49 winners, guys. Sorry to break it to you. :p PatM04 Apr 6th, 2005, 02:53 AM Woohoo Lindsay:) yukon145 Apr 6th, 2005, 04:23 AM i hope Lindsay defends her title here LefandePatty Apr 6th, 2005, 04:30 AM Lindsay :) LucasArg Apr 6th, 2005, 06:10 AM It is an OK win for Lindsay, Brandi was strugling the entire season and won 7 games. I give some credit to Kristina who must have played a good match. tennnisfannn Apr 6th, 2005, 09:31 AM She didn't really have 49 winners, guys. Sorry to break it to you. :p 49 winners in two sets would have meant a double bagel unless brandi hit an equal amount of winners. 6/4 6/3 is just one break of serve for each set, i.e if lindsay served first in the 2nd. WF4EVER Apr 6th, 2005, 12:23 PM She didn't really have 49 winners, guys. Sorry to break it to you. :p It really doesn't make any sense. I forgot to check the total number of points won though. That number seems ridiculously high for a match with such a close score. And against Brandi? Way too close a score, IMO. VRee_Willario Apr 6th, 2005, 12:33 PM There are other really stupid stats in Bausch and lomb sites. In the Alicia/Martina N. vs Linetskaya/Lino match, there were no net approaches... Neither in Venus' match, I'm sure that Venus was at the net  crazillo Apr 6th, 2005, 12:54 PM There are other really stupid stats in Bausch and lomb sites. In the Alicia/Martina N. vs Linetskaya/Lino match, there were no net approaches... Neither in Venus' match, I'm sure that Venus was at the net  That's never mentioned in doubles matches, because it doesn't make sense to count it. Winners are done differently as well I think. It seems that some matches have many winners while others have hardly any. Maybve one of the "winner/error-counters" (LOL!) is strange. :p foreva lindsay Apr 6th, 2005, 01:12 PM Well Done Lindsay :D Chunchun Apr 6th, 2005, 01:13 PM :rocker: Cam'ron Giles Apr 6th, 2005, 02:15 PM Is this the same tourney that had the net too high a few years ago? VRee_Willario Apr 6th, 2005, 02:29 PM That's never mentioned in doubles matches, because it doesn't make sense to count it. Winners are done differently as well I think. It seems that some matches have many winners while others have hardly any. Maybve one of the "winner/error-counters" (LOL!) is strange. :p I know it wouldn't make any sense soI think they shouldn't even have that Net approaches section there then. It's confusing because it says 0/0. VRee_Willario Apr 6th, 2005, 02:31 PM It's so stupid when some people count clear forced errors for Unforced, there's so much differnce in those bausch and lomb matches xr6turbo Apr 6th, 2005, 02:33 PM Is this the same tourney that had the net too high a few years ago? I don't kno if it was the net height but in 2002 the service lines on one of the courts were too close to the net   !<blocparty>! Apr 6th, 2005, 03:12 PM fuck the retarded statatitions (sp? ) you cant count aces wrong? 10  :yeah: lindsayno1 Apr 6th, 2005, 07:25 PM lol lindsay plays like crap normally in the open rounds. i think her philosophy is: -show up -play with as little effort as possible to win! i think she did that! jimbo mack Apr 6th, 2005, 07:30 PM good match lindsay- but it should have been a lot easier step it up against kveta :yeah: !<blocparty>! Apr 6th, 2005, 07:31 PM i think her philosophy is: -show up -play with as little effort as possible to win! I think most of the players in the top ten have this philosophy, too. | |
