No excuses if she fails to reach the semis in my opinion. Spunky83 Apr 5th, 2005, 09:24 PM sorry...but  well, whatever...I don´t know about da Bepa but I see great things coming;) SARA-GOAT Apr 5th, 2005, 09:25 PM That was pathetic, Vera/Anastasia! She still isn't doing that great, but is working very hard on her game and conditioning. SelesFan70 Apr 5th, 2005, 09:39 PM Lol she has been playing; on the Challenger circuit. She still isn't doing that great, but is working very hard on her game and conditioning. Good for Carly! I read an interview with Monica where she said she left Bollitieri's camp because she "was losing to players like Carly Gullickson" :o I was like, "Damn, Monica! That's such a bitchy comment!" :scared: martirogi Apr 5th, 2005, 09:57 PM jesus i thought one of them was killed. dont scare me. losing is not a disaster. RenaSlam. Apr 5th, 2005, 10:31 PM Lately they have both sucked in singles too, so why are we all surprised? LOL. Spunky83 Apr 5th, 2005, 10:52 PM jesus i thought one of them was killed. dont scare me. losing is not a disaster. You know how it looks like when Vera and Nastya are playing doubles...rule number one: Duck immediately when the raquet comes flying across the court like a bullet! brunof Apr 5th, 2005, 10:53 PM At least Carly is cute. :tape:  Jakeev Apr 5th, 2005, 10:56 PM Good for Carly! That's such a bitchy comment!" :scared: WHoa! I find it hard to believe that Monica would say something like that........ Greenout Apr 5th, 2005, 11:05 PM OMG! I guess they can simply blame... JENS!!! :tape: mishar Apr 5th, 2005, 11:09 PM Good for Carly! I read an interview with Monica where she said she left Bollitieri's camp because she "was losing to players like Carly Gullickson" :o I was like, "Damn, Monica! That's such a bitchy comment!" :scared: Are you sure you're talking about Monica Seles?I don't believe Monica said that. Can you tell me where that interview was? It sounds so unlike Monica, to insult someone gratuitiously. And it makes no sense. Plus she has not been "at" Bolliteri's camp since Carly was a toddler at least. She hits at Bradenton sometimes, but she hasn't stopped going there. Perhaps you mean Monica Nicelscu? Or Maria Sharapova? Sharapova's_Boy Apr 6th, 2005, 12:29 AM OMG Nastya/Bepa :fiery: volta Apr 6th, 2005, 12:41 AM Who even knew Carly Gullickson was still playing?   maybe thats why they lost they didn´t knew it 2 they were in chock when she came out and never recovered :tape: Wiggly Apr 6th, 2005, 12:41 AM Carly :hearts: VeeReeDavJCap81 Apr 6th, 2005, 01:17 AM Daniilidou ain't no joke. She has an awesome one handed slice backhand. JenFan75 Apr 6th, 2005, 01:19 AM Daniilidou ain't no joke. She has an awesome one handed slice backhand. I think it's the fact that one of the worst players on the tour (number two to Stevenson) was Eleni's teammate. CoryAnnAvants#1 Apr 6th, 2005, 03:29 AM I think it's the fact that one of the worst players on the tour (number two to Stevenson) was Eleni's teammate. What are you guys talking about? Carly's actually a very good doubles player. She's won a WTA TOUR doubles titles for christs sake (last year in Quebec City w/Salerni). She also won a 75K doubles title w/Maureen Drake and won a 50K doubles title a couple weeks ago with Jenny Hopkins. She's ranked #121 in doubles having only played eight tournaments. All she needs is a full schedule to be ranked at least in the top 50 with results like these. If she wins another match this week, she'll crack the top 100 in doubles. She gets 75 points for reaching a Tier I quarterfinal and 15 bonus points for the win. This result will actually put her inside the top 100, having only played nine tournaments mind you. A win over Navratilova/Molik and she'll be ranked 85. Carly may actually have an odd decision to face for an 18 year old "phenom." With her singles ranking stuck in the 250-400 range for years and no good wins to speak of yet (ie top 100 wins,) she may have to consider bagging singles and focusing solely on doubles. It's pretty obvious where her success is going to lie. She hasn't had big wins in singles, while she's able to win titles in doubles at challenger level and even knock off top 20 doubles players...all while playing a limited schedule. @m@nd@ Apr 6th, 2005, 05:36 AM not just doubles... singles disasters for both of em too Shoulderpova Apr 6th, 2005, 06:30 AM :speakles: :tape: Foot's Fingers Apr 6th, 2005, 07:32 AM may be it's a good sign for Nastya and Vera They will go far in singles This year if they are succesful in doubles than they have early exits in singles Time for you, girls! | |
