I just went to the official WTA website and I was surprised and overjoyed to find out that Maria tops this ranking system. Now, we all know this system is flawed, and it is not the rankings most people care about, but I thought I'd post it anyway, It's good to hear Maria's been the best player this season:D

I think it reflects quite well who the best players of the year are so far.
But, I would put Serena at number 2 and Davy at number 3.
Clijsters would be number 1 if she played AO !! It's impressive to see that even if she didn't play a GS, where one receives a lot of points, she's so close to the bests !! She's probably the best player right now.

It reflects Maria's great start to the year...though the 4 weeks off now will bring her down a little :cool:

I have to say I agree

though the :sad: 6-0 6-0 result shows us her class

probably lindsay will overtake her back..
she is playing amelia and also fcc..
so thats probably for one week
anyway..she is the top 3 of the year without the shadow of doubt
