When Venus went out for 6 months with wrist injury in 2000, she returned with amazing zeal. She had been injured just when she was peaking and came back with desire written all over her, she lost a couple matches then went on a 35 match winning streak winning both wimbledon and USO. All this time I have had the same feeling about Kim, I am not necessarily a big fan bit I am so amazed to see her doing exactly what I felt she would do.
I also believe Myskina's slam success may have stung her so badly, she watched myskina, a girl she literally owns do something she herself hasn't been able to do and desire is all over her. Thoughts anyone!

It couldn't happen to a better person/player. I'd be thrilled for Kim as long as she spears the scalp of my Vee :p

I'm so proud of Jelena, she inflicted the worst loss of that season for Venus, a 6-1 6-2 beatdown in the third round. Venus cried after that match coz she was so outplayed by Dokic that day, that she worked so hard after that and went on to get her first slam later that year :D
