Have you ever heard of a player losing all the points in a set ?
And do you remember a match in which a player won very few points ?

We have had a few discussion about this, but as of now that is the first match recorded since Pauline Betz in the early 40's for a woman to win a golden set in any type of tennis.

It's possible this happens a lot in Junior or other amatuer events, but this is the first golden set I have heard of for a woman since Pauline.

wheelchair tennis is one of the odd ones.
lot's of tactics there.
israel won the world championships some time ago and man - it's all about drop shots.

Nice to see other WCT fans exist ;)
Florence is pretty awesome(all my guy friends I have taken to wheelchair tennis adore her!), Jan is a nice woman and I'm glad to see her playing again so soon :wavey:

Wheelchair tennis lacks depth, so it is very common to get a lot of thrashings in the early rounds. Thats because they dont get as much money so only the good players who are winning bother to stick with it, and the rest are really bad.
