As some of you may already know, ESPN2 is airing the tournament. Today's coverage begins @ 1pm, and I don't know what time the foreacast is scheduled to end. I'm thinking around 3:30.

I just wanted to let most of you all who started threads about Serena's actions yesterday that she may very well be one of the matches on television against E. Likhotseva.

I wanted to give you all an "heads up" so that you would have the opportunity to turn the television to another channel today. You'll have the opportunity to watch some family oriented program instead of a person who likes being struck with a tennis ball. It's too bad that the NHL had to cancel that season because I would've offered that up as an alternative.

Quit acting like Serena never hit the ball at someone. It's a legitimate strategy and she was crowding the net so what does she expect? I'm suprised you are all crying about her "almost" getting struck with a ball, as if it would have severly harmed "poor and defenseless" Serena.

I had a lot of fun watching the match and its unfortunate that people can't focus on the quality but instead what happened in the last 5 minutes, but come on get a grip, would you? Serena is an adult who certainly has the reflexes to handle herself at net, the ball wasn't that big of a threat to her.

I find it ridiculous that people are upset she asked the girl if she tried to hit her with the ball. So what? She can't ask the girl a question?

Peer answered the question and that was that. I of course hoped she would have said of course serena i tried to nail you with the ball! Your my idol.

and serena would have said, thats my girl.

you people are stupid who think this is an issue.

Serena's match won't start until maybe 9pm or so, it will not air (if at all) until Tuesday.

<<waits for unreasonable badreps>>I never said that Serena never tried to hit the ball @ someone. I'm certainly NOT crying, you are not in touch with reality if you think I'm saying that SErena is defenseless.

It's ironic that your self-righteous response comes on the heels of this post being that there were intense discussions about it as soon as it happened. I'm not sure if you quite warrant a "bad rep" from me. Happy posting.:wavey:

Remember in the Wimbledon Final when Serena was at the net, trying to hit a volly, Maria hit the ball right at her and Serena racket flew back and hit her in the face  it was so funny. Maybe she did not want the same thing to happen again, it looked like it would hurt for days

Federer plays @ 7pm and considering how fast he wins matches, Serena's match should be starting by 8:20-30 if all goes as usual with Roger. I think ESPN will show her if thats the case.

Of course. Then they can also find a channel where the "Star" doesn't curse her head off.
