Blasphemer! :tape:

And there was a clay of 2 dyes cast - a green one for the Americas, and a red variety for the Europas, which was made from the rooftops of all the sinners who had spoken badly of Mauresmo - especially the one they call Satan Martina Hingis. And so, as an act of penance and repentance, theses sinners would lie shivering in their beds for using their vile wicked tongues to speak untruths about Mauresmo!

She may not be playing - from sports.fr:

Fed Cup: Mauresmo recovered within eight days? 23/04/2005 - 14:42

Made to withdraw from the first turn of the Fed Cup against Austria after having been wounded with abdominal, Amélie Mauresmo should "be completely recovered from here an about eight days", according to Gilles Daubinet, the doctor of the French Fed Cup team. "It is not very serious. Amélie did not still decide anything but in my opinion, she will be perhaps obliged to withdraw from Warsaw, in order not to take risks for the continuation. She must pass an echography Monday in Paris, one will know some afterwards."

*Fingers crossed*

MAURESMO WITHDRAWS FROM J&S CUP
April 25th 2005 | 13:36

WARSAW, Poland - No.1 seed Amelie Mauresmo (FRA) was forced to withdraw from the J&SCUP due to an abdominal strain.

The French No.1 re-injured her abdominal during the weekend in Portschach, Austria while being a member of the victorious French Fed Cup team in the quarterfinal Fed Cup tie against Austria.

"I’m very disappointed I won’t be playing in Warsaw this year", Mauresmo said. It’s the first European clay court tournament of the year and I always look forward to playing there. Unfortunately my abdominal is hurt and I’m not able to serve. "I hope to get better soon and I wish the tournament all the best".

Mauresmo’s spot in the main draw is filled by No. 3 seed Vera Zvonareva. The additional changes in the draw are as follows: No.5 seed Elena Bovina goes into line 24 with a first round bye and No.9 seed Francesca Schiavone goes to line 16 as the No.9 seed and a qualifier/lucky looser will go to line 26 once qualifying is completed.

The world No.3 is next scheduled to play at the Qatar German Open in Berlin next week.

Better to do this than to risk making it worse. She has two huge tourneys coming up, not to mention RG. Hope she heals quickly :)

Good point Linnie. I agree! Rather have her sit out this one and get better for Berlin and RG! :)
