I totally agree with the comments made in te daft Wimbledon thread I made, and yes, I was not really expecting to use it as the wimby thread, esp. afterall the crap about how to load an image (which I'm working on btw!)

The same point as was made in the Miami '06 thread.

And Duiz, it was you I was trying to make the point to. But you come in my thread, miss the point and start criticising me for making it. I mean, are you a total hypocrite or something?

I reckon can we please delete ALL the early tournie threads, and just not make a thread until the tournie is just about to happen? Then we will not be cluttering up the board with shit.

Especially tournements where there's a good chance she wont play. Like Strasbourg and in the past Dubai. Deleted mine now as it seems to have got the message across.

I think it would be best if we open a tournament thread about a week before a tournament starts. Allows some pre-tournament comments, and can be left open for scoring updates and comments while the tournament is in progression.

I was gonna suggest a week, but I reckon for slams eg. RG; they should be started at the beginning of the (surface) season. eg. RG, when the first tournie is played on clay. Wimby, when Birminghm is played. etc. ;)
