I found an old schedule from a satellite tournament I went to in 1999 and want to know if anyone knows any of these players and how they're progressing. I am putting the seed they were in the tournament that year.
Satomi Kinjo(6)
Monica Poveda
prim Siripipat
Jennifer Embry
Kristina kraszewski
Kyung-yee Chae (5)
Rebekah Forney
Maricris Fernandez (2)
Chin Bee Khoo
Jennifer Hall(wasn't she like the number 5 junior in 96 or something?)
Kim Grant(4) A doubles specialist,right?
Rachel Dive
Orawan wongkamalasai
Lindsay Stead
Kathryn Sell
Patricia Chang
whitney Laiho( I think she played at Florida and won the ncaa team championships)
Sara Walker
Marie Ange Koami
Saemi Lim
Stephanie Mabry
Gabriela Lastra( I think she played at Standford)

Any help would be appreciated

Should have posted this in the Challenger section, would have got more replies.

Non of them are currently inside top 300.

Kristina Kraszewski got to around 235 last year but this year loss of form, injuries meant a disaster, she slipped back to around 800.

Alot of them didnt play in 2001 more due to fact of giving up on tennis among other things

currently Jennifer Embry is highest ranked and these players did not play in 2001

prim Siripipat
Rebekah Forney
Maricris Fernandez Lindsay Stead
Kathryn Sell
Patricia Chang
Marie Ange Koami
Saemi Lim

Whitney Laiho is pretty good.

I don't seem to recall a Jennifer Hall at #5
Kim Grant is more of a doubles player now.

To add to that list, I saw Orawan Wongkamalasai in the qualifying draw in Pattaya as a Wildcard entry but she lost pretty badly. She is ranked somewhere in the 900's I believe.

Yes, Kim Grant plays singles occasionally (last I saw, her ranking was in the 500's, but it has probably dropped lower than that now), but usually concentrates on doubles these days. She is a South African, and is getting on a bit in age!

I thought I saw Stephanie Mabry's name in a few of the challengers last year, but I may be wrong...

Embry is in the Auckland doubles draw, playing with Augustus. She probably won't be there long, as they open against the top seeds Arendt/L.Huber.

Saemi lim? I'm dating her right now ^.^ I just want to say that I love her a lot.

She quit tennis for now. She's since done a masters in sports sociology and is currently doing a Phd in Sports science in Busan, Korea.

Why do you want to follow these tennis players?

Super Dave
