Seriously, this time I think its time ana returned to her long winning streaks, it would be a tough field but she's just so good and can really beat anyone,
so good luck ana

Come on people she won a title this year, and she only lost to Mauresmo x 2, Douchevina and Razzano. We all know clay is her favorite surface, and that great results are yet to come. She has already done so much this season. Give this girl a break.

Clay being her favourite surface... not sure! I think indoors/hardcourts are better for her. Anyway, I think we can expect some nice things from her in Miami. Go Ana! :hearts:

As far as the favourite surface is concerned, i think Ana's game suits at every surface but especially at clay (i saw her at Roland Garros junior some years ago and she was very impressive, she lost in QF i think) and hard court:)

Ana powers through (http://www.anaivanovic.com/index.php?path=start&detailpage=19)

Ana was given a real test in her opening match against Laura Granville but still came through in straight sets.
Ana started well going 2-0 up but allowed Granville to come back to 2-2 and 3-3. Ana was then firmly in control and was able to clinch the first set 6-3.

In the second set Ana was broken early but managed to break back and make it 3-3. The set then continued with both players holding onto their serve tightly. This all ended after the 10th game when Ana managed to break again. While serving for the match Ana was facing a break point but managed to close out the match 7-5.

Ana will have even tougher match in the second round as next up is the tenth seed Nadia Petrova.

Hajde Ana :worship: :hearts:

About injury Ana post in diary - "As you might know I twisted my ankle last week and couldn’t practice as much as I wanted to, but now I’m better and looking forward to my match. Hope you watch it".
Ana super. Good luck in next match against Petrova.

Ana continues winning run (http://www.anaivanovic.com/index.php?path=start&detailpage=20)

Ana beat 10th seed Nadia Petrova in a thrilling match to reach the third round of the Nasdaq-100 Open in Miami on Saturday.
Ana won the first set 6-4 and started well in the second set. She went 2-0 up but then allowed Petrova to take the next 5 games. In an amazing turnaround Ana recovered to take the second set 7-5.

Her next opponent is her doubles partner Nicole Vaidisova who beat Jelena Jankovic 6-2, 7-6.

Ana safely through (http://www.anaivanovic.com/index.php?path=start&detailpage=21)

Ana safely negotiated her passage into the Miami fourth round with a 6-2, 7-6 win over Czech teenage sensation Nicole Vaidisova.
Ana dominated the first set as her opponent failed to find her rhythm. The second set was a much tighter affair with both players playing well, but Ana managed to hold her nerve to win, taking the second set tiebreak 7-4.

Ana next faces a fourth round match against either the sixth seed and US Open winner Svetlana Kuznetsova or Dally Randriantefy of Madagascar.

Good luck against Svetlana :bounce:

Ana Shocks the number 6 seed Kuznetsova (http://www.anaivanovic.com/index.php?path=start&detailpage=22)

fantastic result 6:3, 3:6, 7:5
:DFantastic result 6:3, 3:6, 7:5. Ana's first win against a top ten player.
She knocked out the sixth seed and the world number seven Svetlana Kuznetsova in three tight sets in the fourth round match in Miami.

An immediate break in the first set gave Ana the lead that she managed to held to and take the first set 6:3.

The second set was quite opposite, Ana was broken early and she lost the set 6-3.

The final set was a titanic affair that saw Kuznetsova taking the 5-3 lead but Ana showed once again how mentally agile and strong she is. She broke the Russian and held serve to triumph.

Ana will next face top seed Amelie Mauresmo in the quarter-finals. Third time lucky ….

"This is quite a great result for me," Ivanovic said. "But now I'm really happy that I beat two Top 15 players."
"This is the third time this year that we have played together," said Ivanovic of facing Mauresmo. "Last time we played three sets, so I know little bit what she is about. I'm looking forward for that match and really want to get the best out of it."
