I was really enjoying the match... I thought Marion had a good chance as she really challenges second serves like Myskina's. I think Bartoli will be a top twenty player for years to come, she impresses me a lot.

Well done, Anastasia, making it further into tournements will be good for her confidence.

It doesn't seem that she does. :( Anyways, good luck to Anastasia.

Too bad for Bartoli, but I'll say this about her. I've never seen someone retire more often than she does -- three times already this year, eight times in the last two or three years. Is she chronically injured, frail of body or just prefers to retire rather than lose when she's playing poorly? If she's chronically injured, maybe she should take some time off and get into good playing shape and strengthen her body.

Yea, it's really too bad. She probably could have a title by now, if it weren't for all these injuries. And here I thought she was looking more mature and fit... She seems overly emotional though -- she was crying in her three set win over Craybas at the begining of the year, and she took the last 2 sets dropping 2 games. These injuries remind me of Henrieta Nagyova who has either withdrawn from the next round, or quit play some 10 odd times since 2002, and now she isn't even playing.

Good on Myskina though, for being a classy player -- :) Go Myskina!

Shame for Marion :sobbing:

It is a pity that Anastasia didn't have that much of match practise which she sorely needs at the minute.
