Davenport will play in her 10th Fed Cup, surpassing the U.S. record shared by Billie Jean King and Chris Evert. The three-time Grand Slam singles champion led the United States to Fed Cup titles in 1996, 1999 and 2000, and has lost just twice in 25 singles matches.

Williams, ranked third in the world, is 6-0 in Fed Cup matches and has yet to lose a set.

It's a joke. Didn't they commit to FED CUP last year?
There's no way Serena is going to play Miami, Amelia Island, Charleston, and then FED CUP against the Belgians. It's five straight weeks on the tour. Lindsay is playing Amelia Island, Charleston and then FED CUP. For her it might not be asking for a lot but she still might not do it if she has to hobble on the court against Clisters.

YAY! I'm so glad Serena is playing FED CUP. I'm just worried that she might get injured and not play, or since she will be playing so much, she might get injured and be sidelined AGAIN! So, let's just keep our fingers crossed!

S. Williams is not committed to Charleston, V. Williams is.

Serena is playing Miami, then Amelia Island. Week off, then fed Cup. The on to Berlin, Rome, and Roland Garros.
