Updated with the following additions for players in black or red modes:

:) = Active
 = Retired
 = Active but Long Term Injuried or Away from Tour

A little note here:
Karin Miller (USA) will always be in red. Forever. She was the first player Maria played against in her debut pro at $75K SARASOTA a few days after Maria turned 14. She lost in a long thrilling match 76(2) 46 46. Karin Miller (USA) in red mode is very acceptable. :wavey:

Els Callens (BEL) and Silvia Farina Elia (ITA) will always be in black after they both officially retired from WTA Tour at the end of 2005. Cheers to them. :) I would like Maria to meet them a few more times before they could become blue but that's not going to happen. Not ever. Els Callens (BEL) and Silvia Farina Elia (ITA) in black mode is ok acceptable. I have to accept it since they considered to be great players to play against.

Monica Seles (USA) is expected to be always in red but hey she said that she hasn't officially retired yet! There is some hope that Maria can meet her soon! ;)

The rest of players in red and black modes are something Maria needs to work on! :wavey:

In the last few weeks Maria has taken revenge on so many players, defeated Petrova after she gave the match away in the YEC.
Beaten Hingis twice.
Showed Dushevina that juniors is definitely in the past.
Finally showed Groenefeld she can beat her no problem and that Moscow was just an exception.
Also defeated Kirilenko after she had to give up in their previous match.
Finally got that 0-1 against Camerin out of the way.
And improved her H2H against Myskina to 2-3

Pretty impressive when you think about it :yeah:

Myskina, Mauresmo, Capriati, and Clijsters are the only reds I'm actually bothered about on there. I think she's done pretty well ;)

The head-to-heads don't really mean anything,
especially such as with Kim,
The two first matches when she was just 15? No, already 16 for both.
Still.

However recent matches, especially a streak won by the same player would mean a lot. Such information would be really interesting.
