Martina played in Hyderabad (India) with Ana-Lena Groenefeld, but they were forced to retire from quater final due to Ana lena knee strain

Martina then decided to rest for a while
and she is going to play with Daniela Hantuchova in Dubai (the tournament is starting on28 th february)

I don't think Martina is playing Dubai now. Seems she has a back injury and hopes to be OK for Indian Wells.

That match, with Ana-lena was the first time in her career she's had to retire from a doubles match due to hers or her opponents injury :yeah:

Martina hurt her back lifting stuff out of the backseat of her car - she stood up and her back went out slightly. SHe has been resting it and thinks she'll be okay to play Indian Wells.

Nope, Daniela doubles with Schiavone and they won their first match.

Martina's been having accupuncture and is feeling a lot better. She is confident that she will be able to play at Indiana Wells. :)

Absolutely.. I'd never have thought as a youngster following Martina that in 2005 Id get my chance to see her playing at Wimbledonf or the first time ever!

How lucky are we!

Why isn't she playing recently?

By the way does she have a long-term partner? She's never going to make YEC like this.

I don't think she'd make YEC anyways.

Why, are you coming over? Your best bet is to go to Eastbourne the week before then, when seeing Martina in person is less a chance, more a certainty. Much less crowded, with a far less formal feel, and Martina can be seen around the grounds every day, and on-court is always greeted as if she's the second Messiah!
