would you rather be the oldest winner of a grand slam, or the youngest of them?
and of course...why?

Oldest, because lifes not over once you hit 20!! (it once used to be 30 and soon it will be 15 the way things are going!!). Also with age come maturity and I think youd win because you have learnt how to play and tactics from experience.

Youngest is good to kick start your career and make a splash, but the only thing with that is if your too quick to the top you must keep consistancy up or be known as a one hit wonder. (I think maria is to be a good example of keeping consistancy as she has the ability to keep it for a while yet and if anything improve even more but time will tell)

Oldest. Players are always getting younger...someone would quickly snatch the title...it would take longer for another person who's older to win it...plus, what a way to go out...

I would rather be youngest so I can capitalize and get rich quick and then if my career doesnt pan out I can live on my winnings and endorsements I made while big.

Well, the new pups keep the sport alive and healthy, but I still favour my old faves!

probably oldest because really young grand slam winners doj't usually have as much success as adults (i.e. Hingis, Seles, Tracy Austin, etc.)
