I ask because I'm thinking about seeing one. But I heard they're pretty expensive, so I wanted to know if it was worth it.

I want to find out my body fat % and then to lower it. I know what I need to do regular cardio (which is what I'm getting) but also eating right (which I'm NOT doing). So if I have a food programme, I think it mightl be easier for me to keep to it rather than waking up every morning and not knowing what to eat for lunch and dinner.

Anyone? How do you guys control what you eat?

Yeah that's pretty much what I do at work too Mon-Fri, but I have 2 free days namely THE WEEKEND. Ugh!

Problem is there's too much food lying around at home. I really need to have my own food that I eat in times I've set.

Are they really expensive? There is meant to be one associated with the doctors clinic I go to that I was thinking about visiting.

best way not to eat the junk is to not have it iin the house, obviously. but i think the best way to go about things is have one free day. dont know about a nutritionist, havent been to one so i dont know whether its worth it or not.

I can't say of me that I have a healthy diet. If I wouldn't do so much sport I would be fat I guess. :scared:

A nutritionist seems like a bit of a waste. You're essentially going to be forking over a shitload of money to have them tell you what you already know (you need to get regular cardio, you don't currently have a healthy and balanced diet). As far as your body fat percentage, there are other ways to figure that out than going to a nutritionist.

If you just exercise and eat sensibly (keeping in mind you have to indulge every so often and that it's perfectly OK), you should be OK. There are lots of books you can find at any book store that give you specific diets and what they allow, as well as books that give various exercise programs (in some cases specifically for those who are on weight loss programs).
