Patty V Nathalie is on MCA in preference of a men's doubles match. Now I am not a fan of either player, but that is so disrespectful it isn't funny. It is going to be 36C tomorrow so while they are playing on MCA (not before 1pm) more then likely Lindsay and Alicia (not before 1pm aswell) will be playing under a roof.

I have a ticket for tomorrow. One thing for sure, I will not be turning up before 1pm.. Pathetic is all I have to say. I am actually surprise Lindsay is on centre court, considering the way she has been treated at this years open. Obviously they don't know who is the #1 player in the world is. Then again she is playing an Australian. That's why she is on centre. I wonder if Lindsay was playing Patty or Nathalie, if that would have been on centre? I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't. Disgraceful..

Alicia at home in a semi would be on RLA no matter who she was playing.
Sucks about Nhat and Patty though.

Does anyone understand this schedule?
Why does put they a QF to the Court One, especially to the same time as on the Laver??

All QF matches were in the past on the Center Court, with such a nobodies like Raymond Schnyder, Angelika Gavaldon vs. Marianne Werdel Witmeyer, Serra Zanetti, Coetzer, Po, etc...

I guess it's because of A Woody playing; but why isn't Vodafone Arena
used? Doesn't that have a roof?

Well...what about poor Coria and David last night? Playing
until 2 am in the morning? WTF???

Why didn't the go with the option of playing the men on MCA (:gasp: no ...couldn't do that to poor 'Arod') & show back to back Women's qtr final action!?!

PS they dont use Vodafone Arena for last 6 days of Champs. They actually opened it today because of the heat, I wonder if they will do that tomorrow, saying that though, the heat policy doesn't come into play until it gets to 35C I think? and there is No way it will be 35 before 1pm and if that is the case, the match will begin and once it begins, it has to be finished. Either way I suppose, both quarter Finals should be played outdoors.

I don't understand it. A QF not played on RLA. Regardless of who it is, QF's at Melbourne have always been played on the Stadium court. Whats the difference this year?

Yeah that match should have been on RLA. It is a QF, no matter who is playing they should have put it there. At least now the ppl with only grounds passes will be able to see a quarterfinal singles. I would be going if it wasnt so hot.

The AO might not have put the other match on Vodafone so Fox Sports can show it. Fox Sports can show anything live that 7 doesn't show live as long as it isn't on RLA or Vodafone. By putting it on MCA the AO organisers guarentee live coverage of both matches.

no respect for the 'weak' gender ...

Are we living in the 50ies???
Are Nathalie Dechy and Patty Schnyder no-names down under ???

ITF officials should learn to cope with not former number ones : it's ashaming, guys !

Obviously that wasn't the reason because Fox Sports showed 2 replays of matches, no live coverage.i
