Nej: one good turn deserves another. May you also be blessed with a car accident.

Get back to me when someone you know personally gets in a car accident, and let me know if you feel the same way.
I have a sneaking suspicion that such an event might cause you to grow up a little, and NOT be so selfish.
Here is to wishing Justine a speedy recover to whatever hopefully, MINOR problems she may have came across due to the accident.
Dec 24th, 2001, 08:25 PM
youre right i suppose
Dec 24th, 2001, 08:37 PM
i am not the board police (teehee), and you can say and think what you want.
But in light of recent events, I just don't find someone finding joy in someone elses car accident, to be particularly amusing.
Frankly, I hope you never have to go through what I and the people I know have been going through lately.
Though it might make you "grow up" as I said before (it made me "grow up" and I aleady thought I had it all figured out!)... its an awful lesson that I wish no one had to learn.

Poor Justine
Although she isn't my favourite player, I would never wish a car accident on anyone and certainly would not be rejoicing in it . That comment was totally inappropraitae and Hurtful
Hope she recovers for the AO!

I hope Justine will be ok. No car accident is a joke, or to be taken lightly.
The only "excellent" thing about this thread was the removal of that juvenile poster with the school playground attitude to life. There's more to life than your fav' gaining an advantage due to anothers misfortune.
What a ray of sunshine you were Nejedly. NOT.
Dec 24th, 2001, 11:14 PM
I was already aware of NejKan's Parche-ian non-support from the evil dumbass post made in the WTA Survivor Top 9 thread.
Honestly, I'm surprised it took this long for NejKan to get censured.
Dec 24th, 2001, 11:18 PM
I will pray tonight for Justine. Hopefully it was just a misunderstanding, and if she did get in an accident I hope that everything is alright with her.
Dec 24th, 2001, 11:23 PM
excellent decision josh ... we don't need violent posters like that in this message board
Dec 25th, 2001, 12:29 AM
Well, there's no official news... Maybe in the morning? If not, I guess it was a hoax (not so funny!)
Dec 25th, 2001, 12:53 AM
I have been reading the board for a while but never felt like I should post. I'm a very big fan of tennis. I also enjoyed NejedlyKanepi's posts and think its wrong to kick him off the board or whatever course of action was taken. He admitted his comment was wrong and was obviously not meant to be taken so literally as he pointed out. I will miss his posts and you are mean people. Does anyone know or remember how to contact him please?
Dec 25th, 2001, 01:02 AM
I think it was just a sick joke on the board of Sport24. Sure, there would have been something official, don't you think?
I hope everything is allright with our Juju!
Also thanks to the great administrators of this board!
Dec 25th, 2001, 01:51 AM
Meghan say what? It took you a banning from Josh to bring u on the board? It would of been a bit more mature if your bluntless was aimed at the guy/gal who posted that "EXCELLENT" term. THEN maybe coming to his defense. It's like your condoing the tone. Oh well.
I hope Juju is A-OK
Dec 25th, 2001, 02:02 AM
Good luck and speedy recovery Juju!
Dec 25th, 2001, 02:26 AM
Megan - I actually enjoyed a lot of NejedlyKanepi's posts too - particularly a couple of the Non-Tennis ones about drinking (I don't drink either) and the reading thread...because anyone who likes Oliver Sacks books is cool to me.
But if he was one of my real-life buddies, and he said the things he has written about Justine (saying that she must die and that she's a bitch as in the Survivor Top 9 thread) to my face, I would've decked him. HARD. Using lots of Juju-like shoulder rotation too...for emphasis.
I really hope that this accident report is a hoax. (Bad, bad hoax. Screw the halls, I'd deck that person too.) It's bad enough that Monica got hit by a drunk driver.
Dec 25th, 2001, 07:57 AM
Well still no confirmation of anything, but I do hope it's nothing to serious!
Have a great Christmas Everyone!
Dec 25th, 2001, 08:30 AM
I hope she is okee
Dec 25th, 2001, 08:58 AM
i hope she's alright*fingers crossed*
Dec 25th, 2001, 10:00 AM
In some ways I hope it is a hoax - because then Justine isn't hurt... but if it is a hoax that's also a sh*tty thing to do! If it's true, I hope she'll recover well and get her butt to Australia soon! I wanna see her kicking some butt!
Dec 25th, 2001, 11:48 AM
I hope Justine is alright and i hope she can play the australian open so that she can open a can of whooop assssss.
MY THOUGHTS AND PRAIRS I SENT TO YOU JUSTINE.

When can this young girl find some happiness in her life?! She lost her mother at a very young age, she has broken up with her father, she lost her grandfather last year (the day before the Wimbledon final)...
She is still young and I wish her all the best for the rest of her life! Stay positive girl!
When this is true, I hope it's not that bad and I hope you will recover really soon...
Dec 25th, 2001, 12:20 PM
I wouldn't believe much of this...
1) It's still not official!
2) The source: the sport24.be message board has already produced some big lies so I wouldn't believe this "news"...
Dec 25th, 2001, 12:37 PM
I hope Juju is healthy and ready to go at season's start, whether this rumor is true or not.
Dec 25th, 2001, 12:37 PM
If it's true I hope Justine is ok and isn't sidelined or anything like that.
Dec 25th, 2001, 12:38 PM
What an overreaction to something that hasn't even proven to be true. Bring NejedlyKanepi back. We all say things we don't mean. Or are some people more perfect than others? Geez...
Dec 25th, 2001, 12:53 PM
braveheart...what he did was not propriate. Not at all. I didn't mind his other posts, but this is a place for tennisfans, not for tennishaters.
If he wants to come back he'll have to apologise decently. In this thread he said 'excellent', in another thread he said they should die...they are bitches etc..
There's no reason to say that. I have players I don't like at all, but I keep that for myself, and I certainly don't wish them dead. If this is meant as a joke, then he sure has to explain me the funny part, 'cause I surely don't see it.

Oh, and good look in the future Justine! Hope it isn't true!
Happy Christmas for everybody!

Who else thinks that NejedlyKanepi just re-registered uner the name Megan?

Shes been reading the board, but never registered until yesterday....the day her favorite poster got kicked off...I think someone should take a look at these similarities further than I have....
Dec 25th, 2001, 02:20 PM
I was thinking the exact same thing, ASV
Dec 25th, 2001, 02:21 PM
lol...it's possible, and easy to check..they just have to compare IP-addresses and admins can do that
Dec 25th, 2001, 02:25 PM
I think his IP has been banned so he shouldn't be able to come back even with another name (though i'm not that sure).
And whoever this Megan is, if she misses that guy she can go and try to find him in some other board cos she won't like it much in here.
Isn't it the second time we're banning him anyway? lol, like it was is aim to be banned, oh well!
Dec 25th, 2001, 02:27 PM
BTW I didn't believe this news either actually. Shouldn't Justine be in Australia by now? I mean she plays a tournament next week and I don't think she can afford to arrive the day before, especially since it's a really long flight to Brisbane and she needs some practice on the courts there.
Dec 25th, 2001, 02:27 PM
Yes I banned his IP address.
Dec 25th, 2001, 02:28 PM
And their IP numbers are different K.
Dec 25th, 2001, 02:33 PM
then you have the answer...I didn't know how you ban them huh... But it's not completely safe..
IP-addresses are not always the same. Like when you have ADSL..normally you'll get a new IP-address each time you log in. Well I think most providers work like that..I don't know really. I don't have a static IP I think. Never checked..will do that later on
Dec 25th, 2001, 02:39 PM
Hmmm IP-addresses can be the same, but the posters can be different. My brother and I both use the same computer to post on this board...
So if you banned me, would my brother be banned too??
Dec 25th, 2001, 02:42 PM
When Monica Seles got into a car accident earlier this month, the news didn't say nything about it until TWO days later! Thank god she is OK!!!!!!!
Dec 25th, 2001, 02:45 PM
Josh, I think you're right (Juju should be down under). This info is surely not true. If they prove me wrong, then I hope Juju is able to play the tournies she wanted to play down under.
Dec 25th, 2001, 03:07 PM
Boy.....don't I feel like a MORAN!
BTW Dahveed: What do you mean this is the 2nd time?? What was NejedlyKanepi's name b4?
Dec 25th, 2001, 03:59 PM
please be this not true
(btw,I agree with banning someone who thinks it's an excellent news.... it's SICK!)
Dec 25th, 2001, 04:31 PM
Bram, yes if we ban your IP address your brother would also be banned. But we can only ban IP addresses when the poster in question has a fixed one (cable). When he/she has a dial-up or ADSL connection the IP addy changes every time they connect again so banning the IP is impossible in that case.
Dec 25th, 2001, 06:20 PM
This story doesn't ring true - especially given that there's been no official confirmation of it.
It reminds me of a similar hoax on the Sanex board about Serena in a car accident.
Utterly despicable in my opinion.
To be honest, I don't think that nejedlykanepi really meant what he said, though. He posts a lot and has always come across as slightly immature and tactless. I don't think he fully realised what he was saying. That's no excuse for saying it, though, especially when he's been warned before.
Dec 26th, 2001, 03:29 AM
You seriously missed his realization that it was wrong? His sarcasm?
Dec 26th, 2001, 03:54 AM
To put me being Nejedly Kanepi to rest, he pointed out in an email to me that i had sent Adrian the poster a picture of me to put in the wta picture book a long time ago.
P.S. I never said he was my favorite poster. Though seeing some of the things a number of you have said, and neglected to realize when he apologized, make him somehow superior to a so many of you.
Dec 26th, 2001, 05:35 AM
I double-dog dare you to find me a whole-hearted apology, without any codicils about what he actually meant or facetiousness.
You won't find one.
As for this henchwoman, ignore her and she'll go away...
Dec 27th, 2001, 08:25 AM
For people who still really believed that Henin had a car accident, I read this morning in a newspaper ("La Dernière Heure") that she has flown to Australia yesterday!
So, don't worry, she's healthy!
Dec 28th, 2001, 02:14 AM
What is an IP? Internet provider? And how do you ban someone's IP?
P.S. - I am glad Justine is okay. I always knew NejedlyKanepi's need for being controversial would get him in trouble. I wanted him to stick to discussing tennis. But I guess that didn't satisfy him. I tried on a couple of occasions to get him to be less controversial. I hope people realize he doesn't really mean what he says. I just let his rantings go in one ear and out the other. But he stepped over the line with his comments about Justine Henin. I'm sure he really didn't mean his "excellent" comment. But the damage was done. NejedlyKanepi is very young. He just says things to grab your attention. Unfortunately, he goes about it the wrong way. He's like the boy who cried Wolf. And I guess the administrators called his bluff. I hope NejedlyKanepi has learned a very valuable lesson. Think before you speak. Or write. If the administrators ever give him another chance, I hope he makes it clear that he never meant any harm to anyone. This is the best tennis board I have yet come accross. It's very friendly and informative.
P.P.S. - Was NejedlyKanepi ever warned about being eliminated from this board?
