View Full Version : Sharapova vs Farina-Elia

You know what to do people!

Who's gonna win this AO 4th round match?

I'm thinking that if Farina-Elia doesn't hit enough 1st serves in, Sharapova's gonna try and destroy that second serve of hers...

i want Silvia to win but her game is very "attackable" and she is gonna play against a hard hitter so she has to be very tricky in her shots had some "venom" on them cuz otherwise she will lose the match

Silvia's slice and gameplan will destroy Maria, just like in Rome

Farina Elia in straights!

The last set they played, Silvia bagelled Maria.

If Maria wins - more bonus points for Sveta, so I don't really mind who wins here.

Bump ;)

it's a GIFT draw for Sharapova as Farina has a long running disastrous record in the 4th round of Grand Slams. Comfortable straight sets win for Masha.

I think Maria in 2 sets. She found her game already against Lee-Waters and was really impressive against Na Li. No reason why she should perform any worse now. If anything, she'll play even better. :)

A wipe out by Maria. ;)

Rome was a long time ago. Maria was nowhere near as good then as she is now.

Silvia has to serve really well and she has to direct the slices to the forehand ;) and most importantly, she needs to come to net and cover the crosscourt, especially on the BH because we all know Maria can hit a BH down the line ;)

Maria will win she is pumped and ready for revenge and she is a better player than the last time they met. Confidence can work wonders. Good Luck Maria take it in 2
