Serena defeats Mirza 6-1, 6-4

Wow, I liked what I saw from Mirza :eek:

Serena's serve was on fire but Mirza was dictating most of those points in the 2nd set...Serena was very defensive...But man was she intense out there...

i liked that match. serena certainly found her serve!

mirza can really go places if she gets used to the big serves. she really never adjusted to that but she played a very good second set. she had triple break point and it could have been even closer.

serean should move through the next round easily imo, and mauresmo-- which mauresmo will show up? i still expect serena to win that one too.
