seem to hold serve way better than the women? I was watching the first two sets of Hewett v Blake and think there was only two breaks of serve. Even the top women players have their serve broken all the time:wazzup:

Only the top 15-25 women in the world are capable of averaging good first serves above the 105-110 mph range. Nearly all of the top 500 men in the world average above this speed, many with excellent placement and a variety of spins. The gap in the return games (especially with the new oversized equipment) between men and women has closed dramatically in the past 10 years, while serving is still a matter of strenth and differences in body weight and muscle mass distribution.

Sounds about right, the men are bigger, stronger, and have generally have more height to work with. Also, techinically, they are generally better, using topspin second serves, whereas women tend to just slice it in with less pace. And also men have more topspin on their groundstrokes, making it easier to put away any relatively weak returns.
